Loved the villa and the location! This is what you imagine Hawaii being like.

The villa had everything we needed and the views were spectacular! The ocean area couldn’t have been better with the calm waters and the reefs for snorkeling. Close to Wameia Valley Park where we really enjoyed the beautiful leisurely walk to the waterfall with all the exotic flowers and trees. I would come here again and highly recommend it!

Gorgeous property in Ginas Villas. Good views, sounds and equipment in the villa. Good beaches and trails all around to view waves. Snokeling too!

The area and the actual villa exceeded our expectations. This was so perfect for our family of 7. It was the perfect area. The layout of the villa was perfect. The bedrooms were laid out to provide privacy for each couple, but also close enough so our children still felt connected. will be back!

Management was easy to reach and attentive. We loved the resort bar overlooking the ocean and eating at Alaia and the Beach House. Surf lessons, birding, sunset horse ride, and massage at the resort were superb. Tons of other on-site options. Visits to Pearl Harbor, submarine museum, Waikiki Beach, Dole Pineapple Plantation, Waimea gardens, and Haleiwa were special. All of our experiences both on- and off-site were positive.

Lovely 3rd floor Villa

This is a beautiful villa on the 3rd floor overlooking the villa complex’s heated pool/jacuzzi and ocean. the villa itself was clean and had a spacious layout. The bummer is that check in isn’t till 3pm and checkout is at 11am, which goes by fast if you’re only spending one night. And it was a lot of trekking our food up three flights of stairs, and down (to BBQ by the pool) and back up to eat then back down to checkout the next day. Granted, I realized upon checkout there is an elevator hidden a few villas down. I really wish the villa complex had its own ice machine. We had to drive our car to Turtle Bay hotel, ask the valet staff if we could park in the turn around area, run up to the 2nd floor and get ice and come back down. For the price of staying at a villa, there should be an ice machine on the complex. Also, there is a code to enter the pool area, once your checkout time hits the code expires and you no longer have access to the pool, which was inconvenient for us because we were planning to meet family in North Shore area at 3pm. Also, the pool towels need to be returned to the villa upon checkout, which makes it more difficult to utilize the pool on your checkout day.

We were a 3 generation family traveling together during a multi island trip to Hawaii. While all had been previously to the state, none of us had stayed on the north shore of Oahu. What a beautiful place! From the second we walked into the villa, we knew we were in for a treat. We had 2 young children and 2 grandparents (and the ambitious parents) and everyone had what they needed. The villa was spacious, beds comfortable, bathrooms with privacy, kitchen well appointed (and with beautiful appliances), beach locker well stocked and lanai with comfortable furniture that sustained daily happy hours and a perfect view of the kids (and adults) at the pool and on the lawn. The hotel property is nice to have but there is a definite privacy to the Ocean Villas that can’t be beat. We enjoyed a dinner at the hotel one night, a couple of afternoon happy hours at their pool bar and otherwise cooked in the villa. The beach is lovely. While swimming conditions vary based on the surf, we all had fun, every time. The location is convenient to activities, groceries, small (and fun) surf towns and an easy trip to/from Honolulu. After spending a few days in Waikiki initially, this part of our trip was where we all finally started to relax. We had one unexpected issue with the villa itself. I was able to reach a property manager/owner by phone immediately and the issue was addressed in a timely manner. There was follow up after the fact that restored my confidence in the renter. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to the big surf of the North Shore again someday.
