Breathtaking View on Beautiful Sandy Beach Oceanfront

This oceanfront condo has a million dollar view! It has a gorgeous Great Room and a beautiful fully equipped kitchen. With the roar of the ocean just a few yards away, you will not want to leave the Lanai after relaxing on the Tropitone furniture.

A beautiful little sandy beach is right in front of your Lanai. This is rare on the Big Island. There are also plenty of "World Famous Beaches" just a few miles away. The Best Snorkeling in the world is on the Kona Coast.

This is a spectacular property designed by award winning architect VLADIMIR OSSIPOFF. It incorporates many features that are his trademark, such as screened full-length louvers throughout to provide flow-through ventilation, a large open lanai, and sliding glass doors and screens that completely hide in a pocket leaving the entire kitchen and great room open to the Lanai. This is a private complex with only six units. It is about 2 miles to the center of Kailua-Kona Village. The Big Island is huge, in fact all the other islands together could fit on it. There is so much to do. You are about 1/4 mile from the open-air Ali'i Gardens Marketplace,where you can browse for local produce, coffee, macnuts,and souvenirs.

Location! Location! Location! We are right on a beautiful small sandy beach with tide pools full of fishes, turtles and gorgeous sparkling water. It is great to look at all day and so much fun for the kids. The sunsets are also spectacular. No crowds because the beach access for the public is about 1/4 mile away across Lava. You can sit on the Lanai and see spinner dolphins go by all year and whales when they are in season.

The condo was a great location. Private access to the beach was great. The unit was spacious and got great trade winds. Kitchen fully stocked with pretty much everything you need. Parking was easy. The living room furniture was a little uncomfortable, but clean. And the unit has seen the effects of age and being right on the water but worked for us.

The view was spectacular! The pool was even better than expected, and we almost always had it all to ourselves. No AC needed as the temperature was perfect at night. We did miss access to a barbecue, but we made do without one. Great location.

Loved this condo! View was amazing, right there on the ocean front. No other people in the building for the first 5 days so we had the pool to ourselves. Kona is just down the road a few miles. Two farmer's markets were within walking distance as well as some beautiful beaches. Private parking with a reserved spot. The only time we wished it had air conditioning when when it was raining and very humid. Otherwise, the breeze and the sound of the ocean from the open windows were wonderful. Some traffic noises especially on weekend nights were loud but it eventually quiets down. We were so exhausted from hiking and swimming each day that it wasn't a problem. We had everything we needed in this condo. We would definitely stay here again!

Wir kommen gerne wieder! Es war wirklich alles da. Küche voll ausgestattet inkl. Geschirrspülmaschine. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und wir haben den Aufenthalt von 6 Nächten sehr genossen. Der Abschied fiel sehr schwer. Es war nie zu warm und wir haben die Klimaanlage absolut nicht vermisst (Aufenthalt Mitte Juli). Die Fenster haben Mückengitter. Absolutes Highlight ist natürlich der Balkon im 1. Stock mit Blick auf das Meer. Besser geht es nicht. Der Poolbereich ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wundervoller Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Meer mit einem kleinen Strandabschnitt. Überdachter privater Parkplatz. Mit dem Rauschen der Wellen einzuschlafen wird uns fehlen… Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber! Die Unterkunft hat unseren Aufenthalt auf Big Island unvergesslich gemacht. Uneingeschränkt zu Empfehlen ….

What an amazing property. Great location with wonderful owners. We have stayed several times at this property and it always feels like coming home . Small property offers limited amount of guests at any given time. Love that private feel. As always time spent with friends here is priceless

Magical Birthday Getaway

I'm 12 days older than my wife. We came to Hawaii for 2 weeks to celebrate our Birthdays, spending part of our time here before going to the Hilo side. From booking through the whole stay here was magical. The owner is friendly and professional. Directions from the airport to the front door were spot on. It was exactly as pictured. Woke up on my birthday to watch whales breach just in front of the large lanai followed by dolphins leaping. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of beach items available, though we didn't use them. Couldn't figure out the TV, but were too busy so that didn't matter. Can hear some traffic noise in the bedroom closest to the highway in the early morning. Loved the pool, though no one else used it. Access to the rock and small sand beach was a plus. Great location and host!

Amazing view and comfortable space for families

We enjoyed the condo so much and would recommend it to families. We especially liked the view, easy access to a private pool (we were the only ones there), and beach front access. The high surf during our made it too dangerous to spend time on the beach right below the property, but the one time we were able to it was so beautiful and peaceful. Kids loved looking for crabs and fish in the tide pools. In the calmer months it must be fantastic to stay there. The condo had everything we needed and the beach gear was a nice surprise. A few things were broken (beach chair and boogie boards), but we had enough for our needs. We were able to make meals with the fully equipped kitchen. The beds were cozy and living room relaxing. Obviously LOVED the balcony. I wanted to sleep out there. The traffic and neighbor noise at night was bothersome Saturday evening but otherwise the waves were peaceful to sleep to. No AC but was ok with the windows open. Our only complaint was the cleanliness / maintenance needs. It seemed like the window sills, base boards, cabinets and lamps were dusty. Possibly the cleaning crew could get to those areas more often. There was a mildew odor in kitchen cabinets and closets which can be common in a humid area but was a bit bothersome at times. I am super sensitive to smells. No one else in the family noticed.Location is great. a quick drive in either direction to places of interest. Walking possible, but not with small kids.

Cant get closer to ocean waves!

Chose this property to be close to ocean waves everyday and it did not disappoint. Lanai was lovely place to spend time anytome of day. Condo had all we needed.

Most perfect view on the Island

The property was so gorgeous. Just off the lanai is the pool, gardens and beach. A lovely sandy beach is right outside the gate, just steps from your condo. Amazing view, palm trees and lovely accommodations.

Beautiful!!

This is a very nice condo in a great location. It is very well stocked in the kitchen, as well as many towels, bathroom items and beach gear. Bedrooms had nice closets and room to hang your clothes. Beautiful sunsets and views from the lanai any time of the day. I would definitely stay here again.

You get what you pay for.

Beautiful facility and location. Exterior was in process of being refreshed (tennis courts). The pool was recently updated and the grounds were well kept. Great access to the beach in front of the condo. Prior renters had complained about noise from Ali Dr. which the property backs onto, but we didn’t find it to be a problem. No air, but plenty of fans to keep things cool. Some of the items on the interior were a staring to show their age…. I’m sure the owners will address this if they still want to demand a premium price. But, this is just a nit pick. Overall, wonderful property, wonderful experience.

5-Star setting!

This unit is in a building of 6 condos, all facing the ocean. You have your own, assigned parking spot and the condo is easily accessible using a short flight of stairs. The view from the living area and lanai is spectacular! You will be hard pressed to find a better view! We spent a great deal of time just sitting on the lanai and watching the waves, boat activity, etc. and listening to the waves crashing on shore. The kitchen is well stocked. Some spices were left in cabinets. Also had some condiments in the refrigerator upon arrival. King bed was very comfortable. No air-conditioning in condo but we wouldn’t have needed it. We left lanai doors and windows open and had a lovely breeze throughout the unit at all times. There are stand-alone fans in addition to ceiling fans. We had 80% humidity while there and were very comfortable. There is a small, sandy beach in front of condo as well as next door to building. The pool is heated with solar and very comfortable. Alii market place is a few blocks away. The host is quick to respond to questions and is very accommodating. We would definitely return to this unit! We enjoyed our stay and the location.

Amazing views and cannot beat the proximity to a small beach. We loved seeing the turtles and plethora of fishes in the tide pools right outside the property gates. Overall, well stocked with coolers, beach gear and plenty of towels. Super nice to have in-unit washer/dryer….we packed much lighter because of it. Lovely sunsets!!! Thank you for a great stay.

Great Spring Break Week

We spent spring/Easter break at the condo. The sunsets were amazing! The condo had all of the necessities and communication for checkin was super efficient. The pool was much nicer than pictured and the kids loved the tide pools right outside. Water shoes are a must because beach is mostly lava rock but still very fun. We had some hot water issues but that may have been because we didn’t understand the hot water timer possibly. Not a big deal at all but more explanation on how that works would be helpful. Overall a great trip!

Amazing location!!

This condo was perfect for what we needed. The location was amazing and literally sitting on the lanai listening to the waves crash day and night was unforgettable. It’s a little bit further out of the downtown area, too far to walk if that’s something you’re looking for. The beds were comfortable and it had all of the accommodations for a great stay. Like others have commented, the road noise is a consideration. Sleeping in the master bedroom, you can hear the road noise. But with lots of fans going, it would not keep me from coming back. The private little beach and the amazing pool made this an incredible stay! The owners made a great suggestions for places to visit before we even arrived, and when we did have an issue, we were able to reach the manager and fix the issue right away. Great vacation rental, we will be back!
