Golf course sunsets

Beautiful location, great lanai to watch golf, see whales in the distance and many photo ops, especially the sunsets. Only negative was lack of walking areas.

Wonderful!

Really enjoyed our stay! Loved the ocean views and apartment layout with large patio. We made good use of the condo's pools, hot tubs, and even the pickleball court. The apartment was well supplied with everything we needed. Nice location away from busy Kona, but with small shopping center nearby. Will plan to stay here again!

Overall a great property. Pool area is noisy with a lot of traffic going by. Otherwise well stocked and comfortable. Nice view from the lania.

Everything was very enjoyable.

Condo had everything you would need. Stayed for 3 weeks and enjoyed the location, the quality and the overall vibe of this unit. The only irritation was the masterbed ceiling fan, which was making a noise. Otherwise, Perfection !!! Thank you

Overall convenient and nice

This property was really pretty and in a convenient part of Kona. Not in the middle of all the hub-bub, but still close enough to get anywhere you wanted to go. It was comfortable and clean, with our only complaint is the constant running A/C, it really starts to get to be too much after awhile. In the master it blows directly into the face of the person sleeping on that side of the bed. If you want to turn it off in the room and enjoy the sounds of the birds and breeze outside, you have to also turn off the one in the living room, because it connects to the same part of the lanai, which then leads to the place getting warm pretty quickly. We were there in mid to late April and the units had to run all the time to keep the place comfortable. Again, overall it was a nice stay, but the noise just got to be too much. The kitchen was nicely stocked, but the cutting board looked like it had been driven over out on the streets, so we bought and left some smaller ones for the next people to use. There were plenty of towels available for a quick run down to the beach and the ice chest was a nice touch to keep food with you and to help save a little money. Management was easy to reach when there was a small inconvenience with the internet and were very accommodating. Thank you for the good overall experience.

Great for 2 Couples!

Aloha! This was our second stay in Keahou and it is a super convenient location from which to explore the Big Island. The unit was perfect for 4 adults, and very well equipped with all the comforts of home. The bedrooms are separated and each has a spacious closet and bathroom. Both beds were comfortable. The bedroom off the lanai stayed very cool at night without AC. The numerous ceiling fans provided a nice breeze, especially when both the front and lanai doors were open, so we had little need for AC with outdoor temps in the high 70's. The unit is modern, clean and well maintained; spacious with plenty of seating areas; very well equipped with cooking, serving, and coffee making supplies as well as some basic spices and condiments left behind in the refrigerator and cupboard. There were plenty of bath and beach towels, and the 4 beach chairs and ice chests were very handy! There were even basic first aid supplies if needed. We enjoyed 2 of the 3 swimming pools! There were gardeners and golf course grounds keepers working around with power tools and mowers on a daily basis to keep the facility perfect. We rented our own snorkel gear to get the right fit, and the items I would bring for next time would be a portable speaker for music from my phone, and extra dish washer and laundry soap to supplement the "starter supplies" for about 4 loads in each. Overall, we really appreciated this lovely condo and extras and would recommend it and stay again! Mahalo!

A week in Kona

Excellent property and very convenient to grocery shopping and activities. Great view of the gulf course and the ocean. This condo was very nice and clean and had all amenities needed. The only upgrade needed is master bedroom mattress may need replacement as it was not very comfortable to sleep on without sinking.

Clean spacious unit

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the unit. It was very spacious and was exactly how it looked in the pictures. It was well stocked with essentials in the kitchen. My only comment for improvement would be to update the couch. It has definately seen better days. Overall, great unit in a great location. Views were spectacular.

Great location all around!

Great view of the ocean, and perfect location in the middle of the par 5 18th hole. Golf course view was beautiful as it is a well kept. Pools were great (2 of 3 were open). Grocery store & take out down the street. There were no surprises - what you see on the website is what you get - this condo delivered perfectly.

This could easily have been a 5 star rating, but there was one significant flaw. First the good: amazing view, great deck with BBQ, well equipped kitchen, and nice amenities (3 pools, tennis courts, nearby shopping and restaurants). Airflow and circulation was excellent for a condo thanks to the front screen door and mauka windows (didn't use the AC at all). Property management company, Grand Welcome, was prompt and responsive to our one internet issue upon check-in. Our only significant complaint was with the couch and loveseat. Horribly uncomfortable, almost painful! Thankfully we were on the go most of the time and not seated in front of the TV. Overall a nice stay and solid value.

Beautiful place to stay--we will return.

We've stayed at the Country Club Villas twice before and just love the location in Keauhou. Easy access to everything, and a bit out of the fray of Kailua. We were happy to find this particular unit. It is one of the nicest units we've ever stayed in anywhere. Very clean, nicely appointed, most everything you could need with to set up for a couple of weeks very nicely. We appreciated the communication with Grand Vacations who manage (own?) the unit also. Stacy was a pleasure to deal with before we arrived and right after. She checked on us the morning after we arrived. Our only issue was that we love these units because of the barbecue on the lanai, and this one was in such bad shape that each time we used it it completely destroyed the food. No heat control. My own foolishness that I didn't give up after the first meal failed and go out to each every meal, but I had already spent lots of money on meat to barbecue. We finally gave up after five failures and left all the uncooked meat in the fridge for the cleaning crew. I was disappointed that when I wrote to the management company (about a week into our stay), they never even acknowledged the concern. That's just a small part though, we literally LOVED everything else about the place. And will come back again (just doing our meals differently). I highly recommend this location, and this particular unit, and the initial communication with Stacy at Grand Vacations was fantastic. Rent this!

Great condo in perfect Keauhou location

Nicely appointed and furnished condo in the heart of Keauhou. Close to shopping, bay and things to do. Very comfortable bed, nice newer appliances and very clean. Loved having laundry facilities in the unit and could have packed 50% less stuff! Highly recommend going out on the Hula Kai for afternoon or manta ray snorkels. Peabody & Galette's is great for coffee and crepes.

Very clean very nice !!!!

We are family with two kids 11 and 5 and we extremely enjoy this place, quiet place with three clean pool area. Lots of stuff in the apartment (beach chair, beach toys, beach cooler etc.) Nice big Lanai with barbecue gril and beautiful sunset, five star recommendation to all. To owner: I fix the main sliding patio door,( was very hard to open for my kids and my wife,) Propane bottle in the grill was gone in 5 days, $21 exchange so there is a brand new now. I replaced filter in fridge, but still five stars! really nice apartment. Jerry Silhavy

Not the best place we’ve stayed.

Location was very good. High end furniture good to look at but not practical for family use. Floors felt grimy, we used indoor and outdoor door flip-flops. Nice BBQ grill but no fuel, couldn’t be used. AC worked well.

Good location, nice condo

Overall our stay was very good. The condo is in a very good location, and it had everything that we needed. The pool was very nice and it was close with very few people there. The only downside were the renters in the condo above us, very noisy, doors banging at all hours and furniture scraping. This and other issues were brought up with the booking agents and we would not get replies from them, even though we left multiple contact numbers. Calls would got to voice mail and no return calls. Even when we wanted to book and extra day it took 5 calls before it was finalized.

What you see is what you get!

We stayed at the condo in December of 2018. We loved the quiet, but close proximity that the condo offered to the ‘downtown’ area of Kona, a nearby grocery store, restaurants, farmers markets, and lots of beaches. It was clean upon arrival, although with getting in very late and all grocers closed, some fruit or a small snack to get us through until morning would be a nice bonus feature that the owners could consider providing. We enjoyed playing games on the large deck and the sunshades were a nice feature when it was getting very hot or to keep bugs out at night. The pool is also very quiet and has an even more beautiful view of the golf course and ocean. Our one negative was very limited toilet paper provided and we actually had to go out and buy some because we ran out half way through our one week holiday. In the manual it mentioned a two roll limit for each bathroom, which seems unnecessary. Some basic condiments in the fridge would also be helpful in order to help with preparing basic meals. We have stayed at other vacation rentals where the owners go above and beyond with little touches to make it special, and this one was lacking that, but overall still a very positive and enjoyable place.
