Family Trip
The condo is really well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The view from the balcony is exceptional. We loved having the use of the boogie boards for nearby Magic Sands.

Would absolutely rent again
Roomy three bedroom apartment right on the water. Breeze off the ocean kept the condo a very comfortable temperature. Condo complex amenities (pool, tennis, pickleball, outdoor seating) was easily accessed and uncrowded. There is a good selection if restaurants and shops within two miles. The night swim with the manta rays was a short five minute drive. A must do. Everyone( three retired couples) really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous Stay! The pictures in the listing are very accurate
We traveled to Kona with 2 friends this trip and stayed at the listing. I was thrilled with the accuracy of the photos and views! The condo was beautifully furnished, there were ample towels and linens. The kitchen had every appliance and implement you would need if you wanted to cook for the week, not that we did. There were boogie boards, beach towels, and lots of other things we did not need. The views from the lanai are incredible. We sat on the balcony every available moment. The main bedroom opens onto the balcony/lanai and you hear the surf all night long. The unit was clean and the directions for trash, recycling were very accurate. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, large fridge with icemaker and filtered water, hair dryers in each bathroom along with basic shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dish soap. Some spices and condiments. Any communication with the owners was very quick. We had no issues during the stay and absolutely plan to return. The location was convenient to everything. Shopping is available at the top of the hill, along with 2 wonderful restaurants Tropics and Sunset View (I think).

Surf and Raquet
We had a delightful stay at this gorgeous unit. The view and sunsets on the lanai were unparalleled. It was wonderful to have 3 separate bedrooms with the 3 baths for the 6 of us and we never felt crowded.

Ocean view amazing!
We picked this condo to be able to sit on the lanai and see and hear the ocean & it is amazing! We also needed a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom unit which is very hard to find that close to the ocean. Loved having a reserved parking spot right next to our unit. There were a couple minor maintenance issues ( closet door off track, curtain pulley needing repair) When we notified the host, they said they would be fixed after we left as we requested that. We would definitely stay here again because we love being so close to the ocean and spent lots of time on the lanai enjoying the view.

Another great visit
This was probably the 12th time we have stayed at Wit & Darlene's condo, so there's no doubt that we enjoy staying here. They have always been very responsive to any issues that need to be addressed, and you can't beat the location and the views from the lanai. We're looking forward to our return next year! Perfect location for a family to vacation
We enjoyed our stay at your property immensely! The lanai is right in the ocean and it was wonderful to fall asleep to the waves. The beds were extremely comfortable including the pillows. You have all the essentials you need including extras such as beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards. The towel rack in the lanai was perfect to hang it towels on everyday. It was a perfect stay for us and we will definitely book again if we are back in Kona with family! Thank you!!!

Idyllic setting. Beautiful oceanfront location. Well supplied condo
We greatly enjoyed our time here. The location is our favorite in Kona! Easy access to the highway, shopping center, Keauhou Bay and more!!! This condo was well supplied in the kitchen, bathrooms, deck, laundry, bedrooms and living room. Beach chairs & towels We enjoyed the sounds of the surf at dinner on the deck! The owners answered all of our questions before the trip and their condo instructions were easy to understand!! Definitely recommend

Girlfriends' Kona Getaway
We loved the location, complex grounds and pool, layout of the unit, its kitchen with all necessities (coffee makers, pots and pans etc. No coffee, spices or condiments). The best part is the patio. The owner was very friendly and responsive when we needed to contact him for a couple of issues. He also sought and was receptive to our feedback regarding the dirtiness of the unit and a few maintenance items that needed addressing. We would come again, trusting these things will have been taken care of. Mele Kalikimaka!

The view was incredible. Having breakfast every morning overlooking the ocean was so amazing. I do wish it was a bit cleaner when we arrived however. Other than that we had an amazing trip. One we will not forget!

Airy ocean front condo
My family and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our stay. We had a couple of toddlers and 3 sets of adult couples in our group. We really enjoyed the location of the condo- not in the middle of town, but not too far from anything. The ocean view and sounds were great, especially since we could keep the doors open all the time. The condo was clean and somewhat updated; we felt like the pictures didn’t do it justice. The living space was larger than the pictures show and the high ceilings made it feel very open. We expected no A/C from the listing so that was no surprise, although it did get pretty warm inside most afternoons- definitely doable and not necessarily a negative, but just to be aware of. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking essentials and the owner responded quickly when we didn’t have any dishwashing detergent after checking in. There were plenty of beach towels for our group and the beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and misc snorkeling gear was awesome to have! Only wish we had some sand toys for our littles to play with, but we did leave a couple for future renters. The pool and tennis courts were just a short walk from the condo and very nice; only downside to the pool was that it didn’t open until 8am. (We had littles and a 4 hour time difference so they were ready to swim much earlier.) Overall we were very happy with this condo and would choose to stay here again if we return!

Stay in Kona
We stayed in this unit 6 years ago and were very impressed with the accommodations so when we returned to Kona this year we booked the same unit again. It could benefit from a little updating and a deep clean. On the plus side: This unit is spacious and has a beautiful ocean view. The kitchen has lots of dishes, pots and pans, and the cupboards were well stocked with spices, vinegar, oil, and an assortment of other items to help with meal preparation. Several beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and a variety of snorkel gear. Plenty of towels. The unit has no AC, so it can be a bit hot at times, but there are several floor and ceiling fans to help move the air if there is no outside breeze. Another thing to keep in mind is that this unit is on the 3rd floor and there are no elevators. We did not find this to be a problem, but it could be for some. The complex has several community BBQs under cover, nice pool and tennis courts, beautiful grounds, is conveniently located to shopping, and has beach access just north of the townhomes where you can sit under shade trees, and try snorkeling if the tide is right and the surf not too rough. The owner is responsive and helpful.

Great Location
Great host. If you like air conditioning you may feel stuffy. If you don’t like air conditioning it’s perfect. Either way after a few hours it was airy and lite. Would highly recommend. Aloha!

Beautiful, peaceful location
An amazing ocean view. Quiet and clean property. Owners had provided plenty of snorkeling and other beach supplies. Clean, full kitchen with dishes and silverware. No elevator and no AC. We had a great time!

Very clean. Well stocked. Location is close to everything. Would go back in a newyork minute. I would mention that there are 3 flights of stairs to get to condo so if you have ambulation issues...just a heads-up.

True Oceanside Condo
This is a very good mid-priced condo right on the ocean with beautiful sunset views. It was clean and located conveniently to anything you could need. It was also one of the better equipped condos we have rented. There is no air conditioning, so it can get slightly warm in the early afternoon, but the breeze on the lanai keeps it very comfortable. It cools off nicely after dark and is very comfy. We would definitely stay here again.

A trip to remember
This was our first trip to Hawaii and we are already planning a trip back. The condo has a great location and great views. Once we got settled in and acclimated to no a/c we were really able to enjoy everything the big island has to offer. Sunrise and sunsets on the lanai after long days of exploring the island were fantastic. The condo provided us with everything we needed to be able to relax and enjoy our time. The condo is close to activities and restaurants such as Seaquest for night swimming with the manta rays, location pick up for Mauna Kea adventures, Magic Sands Beach and Sam Choys. The amenities of the grills, volleyball, pool and courts was great for our teenagers to use while be prepared food. We would definitely stay again.

Nice view, great location
Very responsive hosts. When we reported a minor issue, it was taken care of promptly. Awesome view of sunset from the lanai! Well equipped kitchen. Also, had beach gears for use. Comfortable and clean beds. We were a family of 7 ages from 20s to 80. Totally enjoyed the stay. Would love to stay here on our next visit to Kona.

Great Place to Stay - Highly Recommend!
Our group of six (3 adults & 3 teens) had a wonderful time staying here! Amazing location with an unbeatable view from the lanai. Kailua-Kona is only a 10-15 min drive north but there’s lots of stuff to do nearby, including a great beginner surf & snorkel beach park. The pool area at the complex was really nice & our kids loved having the option to swim ‘til 9pm. You can reserve a tennis court or use the community ping pong table. Behind the rental there's a volleyball court (over soft island grass) near the shared BBQ grills. The Keauhou Shopping Center is really close by and has a lot to offer…grocery store, movie theater, drugstore, nice gift shops, a bookstore, several restaurants and a post office. Definitely recommend checking out their Saturday farmer’s market, having a drink at the taphouse, a plate lunch at L&L Hawai’ian BBQ and a treat from Da Shaved Ice Place 😊. The KTA supermarket there has a much bigger selection and better prices than the ABC Markets in Kona. Was really nice to have such great options when we stayed local. Hanging on the lanai after exploring the island each day was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We lucked out and got to see some whales breaching and also saw several groups of dolphins pass by. Super appreciated that this condo is really well equipped. The kitchen has just about every type of appliance you need and is well stocked with pots/pans/dishware, large platters & bowls for bigger groups and even herbs/spices. The living/dining room area was much larger than it appears in the pictures and the big dining room table was a great space for playing cards/games at night. There are several closets filled with beach gear, towels and useful items for travelers with small kids. The owners were wonderful to work with…there was a snafu when we checked in, but Witold & Darlene took care of it very quickly. A special shout-out to Olga for making our stay so comfortable! We hope to return someday and would love to stay here again!

Beautiful location!!
Owner was very good at communicating. Location, location, location, was truly awesome. Every sunset beautiful. VRBO neglected to include the lodging tax in listing amount. Owner needed to follow up with us to ask for additional funds that we paid thru VRBO. We were disappointed that the actual price was higher due to the lodging fee not disclosed by VRBO error. VRBO did not agree to offset OR lower fee,or make good on price guarantee program, as requested by us.

VRBO used to charge the Lodging Tax at the same time as one made a reservation, but as of middle of last year they stopped doing that. Nice location
Being right on the ocean provided a wonderful view. The raquet club condos are located close to alot of Kona activities. It seemed like no one had been there for awhile to check on the the overall maintenance of the condo and the things in it. Needs some overall maintenance and needs a deep cleaning. There are plumbing and electric issues.

Paradise Found
I cannot tell you how much we loved staying at this location. It is only about a half a mile walk from downtown Kona and right on the ocean, the most amazing view and wave sound you can imagine. I spent almost every moment that we were at the condo lying on the chair on the lanai listening to the waves. Truly magical and the kitchen is more well-stocked than any place I’ve ever stayed. Even spices and condiments.. rice cooker, air fryer, blender and great assortment of pans. Thank you and we will be back here at least once a year. So beautiful. Mahalo!

This is a great condo with a lovely view of the ocean. There are beaches within 5 to 15 minute walks. There is a pool, tennis courts, ping pong and picnic areas. We enjoyed our stay.

Great property! Everything as advertised. Lots of beach equipment to use and cupboards stocked. No AC, though once the fans are going and doors opened, the rental is comfortable. You can see the ocean from the master bed and can hear the waves at night. Pool and tennis area are great and a short walk from condo. Only minor complaint is that the condo could use a deep clean.

Great Spot..Great Development
The unit was just as advertised. Had a terrific view right on the ocean facing the sunset. Tennis courts and pool area were fabulous. Slept 6 with no problems and all bedrooms had their own bathroom. Would stay there again if ever in Kona.

Amazing!!!
We absolutely loved staying here! Other reviewers are correct, the pics don’t do it justice. There have been a few nice updates including the TV, although we never even turned it on. The view is incredible and I drifted off to the sounds of the ocean every night. You have a direct view of the sunset and, for us, the moon setting was just s as spectacular. The area feels very safe in this gated community and you are literally right next door to one of the best snorkel beaches on the island. The check in process was a breeze and it was nice and quiet while we were there. We hardly ever saw another person. We also appreciated the information booklet that provided a wealth of information. The unit is quite spacious as well. It has two closets stocked with beach supplies, one upstairs and one on the main level. The condo is also stocked with literally everything you could want. It made things so nice for us not to have to run to stores all the time. It does get pretty hot around midday, but I was pleasantly surprised at how just opening the sliders and turning on the plethora of fans cooled the place right down. The fan over the master bed was also very quiet so you could still hear the waves. We stayed 3 places on the big island and this was by far my favorite. I would definitely stay again. The only real complaint would be a bit of dustiness and the cleanliness of the couch. It was pretty stained and dirty and we were honestly a little uncomfortable to sit on it. It didn’t effect our stay though bc as I said we never desired to sit and watch TV. Besides that small detail, we had a wonderful time! Thank you for sharing your condo with us. We hope to stay again :)

Home away from home
Such a great wonderful beautiful experience once again. The location is most amazing and the house is beautiful. We did not have any issues at all. Yes it is on the third floor with no A/C, which is listed, but we had no issues as we like to have the breeze run through the house and listen and see the beautiful view. Waking up here was breath taking. I cannot wait to be back. Thankyou for having us and sharing your beautiful home. We appreciate you.
