“This by far us an amazing little spot, absolutely stunning. Mark was such a lovely and welcoming host (even had some treats and breakfast items available) The cabin i think is quite romantic and with such short notice on trying to find accommodation that would allow pets i will definitely recommend the retreat. There is a small lake to use a paddleboard, dinghy and 2 kayaks (which are provided). We cannot wait to come back. Thanks again Mark ☻ ”

“We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. With 2 adults and 2 young children it was very snug, but the amount of space was good as a base for our adventures around the Hokianga. Sunny windows, beautiful view of the sandy north head from the window, lovely sounds of the sea at night. Very heavy rain overnight but we were high and dry, no issues. Bruce was very welcoming and was close by if we needed anything (we didn't). The sofa bed was all made up for the kids when we arrived in the evening. The……

“Due to a water leak from the washing machine saturating the floor rug we were offered the adjoining Bach which to our pleasure has an uninterrupted view of the beach. Communication good. Enjoyed our stay, BB.”
