「We had a wonderful time here - great spot to explore and enjoy Matakana, visit the markets and Brick Bay. The house was spotless and the owner was very responsive to questions. Loads of fun had by all thanks! 」

「The house was perfect for our wi yer get away. It was warm and comfortable. Great location, close to the playground. We enjoyed exploring the museum near by on a wet day too. Communication with the host was amazing. 」

「Excellent bach, fabulous stay. 」

「This bach was the perfect base for our weekend in Whangarei Heads. Lovely views of McLeod's Bay and with the house backing onto the bush, we enjoyed seeing the native birds. We even thought we heard kiwi at night. The bach was just the right size for our family of two adults and two kids, very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. The kids loved playing badminton on the front lawn. The owners were very responsive to all our questions, and gave detailed instructions on finding the bach...

「Not enough wine glasses for 8 pax, we bought 4 and left in cupboard to share. Coffee machine does not have the correct basket in coffee holder to brew the coffee. coffee grinds were very hard to get out to make next one which made a hell of a mess. We wasted a lot of the coffee. If you put the correct basket in it will make a nice coffee.」

「We enjoyed being waterfront even though it was winter. We had amazing weather though so we enjoyed the deck at the back with all the different birds and views of the trees up the hill. The house was warm so didnt really have to use the heat pump much or the electric blankets on the beds. Would love to be be back to enjoy another break.」

「Great cozy spot for a winter weekend away with the family. Plenty of board games and toys for the little ones. The fireplace made it nice and toasty on the chilly evenings. 」
