Here at Split Apple Holiday Home, incredible ocean views greet you from almost every angle. Perched above golden-sand beaches and the sparkling waters of the Abel Tasman, this spacious hilltop come beach retreat is designed for unforgettable getaways with family or friends.

Expansive wraparound decks provide multiple spots to relax, sunbathe, or entertain, while the surrounding native bush trail leads you directly down to the beach below.

Unwind under sunny skies or starry nights, fire up the outdoor pizza oven or large BBQ for alfresco feasts, and let the kids bounce to their hearts’ content on the trampoline. Whether you’re soaking up the sun or enjoying a quiet evening surrounded by nature, there’s something here for everyone.

Inside, the home is flooded with natural light through unimpeded and extensive glazing that frames sea views, lush forest and even the stars above.

The kitchen is a chef’s dream—featuring a central island with sink and cooktop, pantry, crockery drawers, a wall-recessed fridge, microwave, and Nespresso pod machine.

The open-plan living area features soaring cathedral ceilings, a large Frame TV, plush leather lounges, and a cozy fireplace with firewood provided for cooler evenings. Large bi-folding doors allow the home to open up to the decks and outdoor living areas.

Whether you're gathering for a summer holiday or a winter escape, this welcoming and well-appointed home is the perfect setting to create lasting memories.

* A beautiful open stair provides access from the main living level below. Note that there is no door at the top of the stairs, however the design of the home provides a good level of privacy for this room.

* Large windows beckon the stars at night and welcome the sun in the morning.

* It is the owners preference that this room is not furnished with window treatments (curtains, blind etc), therefore eye masks will be made available by request 👍.

2 (Bunk room) 2 x Doubles, 6 x Singles. Exceptional sea views & opens to the balcony via bi-folding doors.

• Named for the iconic and nearby Split Apple Beach, this holiday home occupies a forested hill-top above the ocean, affording exceptional elevated views across a huge swarth of the Kaiteriteri - Abel Tasman coastline, across to Nelson and the spectacular Richmond Ranges beyond.

• The area is characterised by exceptional homes in a beautiful natural setting with incredible sea views and stunning golden sand beaches in almost every direction!

• A private walking track takes you down to Venture Cove from where you can access the Tower Bay track straight to the beach. Split Apple Rock beach track is accessed from further along Tokongawa Drive (either beach is just 10 minutes walk).

• Marahau Village and the start of the Abel Tasman National Park, Stephens Bay, Little Kaiteriteri & the Kaiteriteri main beach & the Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park are all just a short drive away!

• This property is located 1hours drive from Nelson Airport.

⭐️ Inclusions

• Split Apple Holiday Home will be presented with beds made, ready for your stay.

• All utilities, linens & towels, use of all listed property amenities, pantry & sanitary basics, departure linen service & standard housekeeping up to 4.5 hours will be included in your booking.

• Extra charges will apply where additional cleaning, BBQ or oven cleaning or excessive rubbish disposal is required.

• Maximum guest capacity of 8 - This limit has been set with respect to local rules, the suitability/availability of other property amenities and owner preferences. If you do have more than 8 guests please contact us to discuss your needs and we may be able to assist on a case by case basis.

• Pets - Housetrained dogs may be welcomed by written agreement only. Please contact us about your pet before booking. Please note that a pet fee will apply.

• This holiday home is a much-loved family holiday home, shared with like-minded travellers when not in use by the family. We ask that you take great care of the home while here and also that you have empathy for the family's preferences around window treatments. If you prefer a home with curtains/blinds in the bedrooms, simply reach out to our team and we'll be happy to assist with other options.

⭐️ Important Amenities Notes

• No Air-conditioning - The Main house relies on cross breezing with large windows/doors that can be opened on virtually every side/facet of this home. The lower level apartment does have a floor mounted air-conditioner/heat-pump,

• No Spa pool - We mention this as while not advertised or shown in our listings there is a spa pool on the property which is out of order due to the unavailability of parts and regulatory compliance requirements.

• No Window treatments - At this home the owners embrace the natural rhythms of the day and night and it is their strong preference not to encumber the windows with blinds or curtains. Please note this when booking and do let us know if you would like us to provide eye masks for your stay.

• Wood-burner heating for the main home - There is no heat-pump in the main living areas of the home. Wood and fire starting equipment are provided for Winter / cool snaps in Summer. There are portable heaters for bedrooms.

• Security cameras - For the general security of the property & guests, cameras surveil the parking & driveway areas of the property.

⭐️ Check-in is possible anytime after 3pm.

• Early check-in (1pm and in some cases earlier) can usually be offered for an additional charge. Please request this at the time of booking or at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

⭐️ Check-out is to be completed by 10am on your day of departure.

• Late check-out (by 12pm/noon or as agreed in writing) can usually be offered for an additional charge. This request should be made at the time of booking or at least 24 hours prior to your departure.

**Payment, Bond/Security Deposit and Cancellation**:

- A 30% deposit secures your stay with the balance due 3 weeks prior to your arrival (full payment will be required if booking within 3 weeks of arrival).

- Three weeks prior to your arrival (or immediately if booking within 3 weeks of arrival), you’ll need to provide a card authority for the bond/security deposit via our secure online check in process.

- Cancel anytime up until 3 weeks prior to arrival for any reason and you’ll pay no more than 30% of the booking total.

- Where compassionate circumstances for cancellation exist, we’ll be happy to look at further flexibility, usually in the form of postponement of your stay, or a credit towards future stay dates.

- A Rental Agreement document is provided as part of the booking process. Please refer to the agreement for full terms and conditions. :-)
