“This place is amazing! The villas are clean, modern and stylish. The location in Assos is gorgeous. Panos was warm, friendly and gave lots of tips about the island. His breakfasts each morning were incredible - fresh, local ingredients and so yummy! We would definitely recommend staying here - you won't regret it! ”

“We loved our stay at Penelope Villas, the villa was very well kept, spacious, modern, well equipped and in a great location. With just 4 villas it was quiet, but literally a 5 minute drive from Sami main promenade with a great selection of restaurants and shops. The only issue was the air con wasn’t working properly but the owners were very quick to get it fixed. The grounds were well kept and spacious, the pool was perfect for cooling down and there were staff regularly cleaning the pool,……

“The property was situated in a lovely enclave of about 5 villas with an amazing view down over the bay. Very peaceful and relaxing. A car is essential though because the road to beach and nearest shop or restaurant is extremely steep. The nearest beach is a bit of a trek but worth it as it is very secluded. Check in could have been simplified if we had been told which villa we were in but Demetrious was very solicitous all week and made sure we had everything we needed. The home made marmalade……

“Lovely villa with great outside space and views.Very spacious, clean, comfortable and fully equipped villa. In great location, quiet and peaceful but very close to Sami and great for easy access to visit all around the island. The outside space is amazing and the pool is an added luxury. The owners are extremely helpful and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. All in all a wonderful place to stay, would recommend 100%.”

“Had two fantastic weeks here. So peaceful and relaxing and amazing views. Central on the island for sightseeing. Easy to get to see everything in two weeks from here and still have some downtime. Agia Effimia is a lovely little town with enough places to eat and two or three bars for a quiet drink, but not spoilt by tourism. We walked into town several times from the villa. It is perfectly doable, but does depend on your level of fitness. It is actually 2km by road down to the town, but not so……

“The house was lovely but communicating with the owner was appalling. She never ever answered emails. Finally I had to call the website and at last located someone who could help and so I could arrange checking in etc. However there was no information available in the house about either workings of the house itself (lights, locks etc) or local contacts and possible places to visit (which would have been nice). The only time we met someone who appeared to know anything about the house and woman……
