Autumn is a great time to visit and the only bad thing was the flies.Recommend Pelecans rest for meals and service.Mbale is a great stay but would be happy with cheaper acc that allows dogs.

Reviewer Comments: The functionality, layout and supplies in this accomodation were perfect. My only complaints wete the shower curtain!!! The shower recess is reasonably small, the curtain is set back quite a way and it blows in onto your skin all of the time while showering (it needs weighting at the bottom or changing to a screen) and there was no measuring jug for cooking (very minor) The garden was fantastic for our dog,the beds and couches were super comfortable for us and the booking and key pick up were very easy.

You can see the river and coast from the front garden, and the pub is a short walk away (there is nothing too far away in Kalbarri). There were two blue tongued lizards living in the back garden and we came back to find a big roo munching on the grass in the front garden one afternoon. The only minor issue was that the architrave running along the face-brick wall in the laundry was not sealed, meaning that bits if debris were being blown onto the work surface, but such a minor thing and easy for the owner to fix

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been returning to this house for almost 30 years every Sept/Oct school holidays. We always feel like we’ve returned home. We love the location and the house has all the extras you might need in the kitchen. There’s even jigsaws and games for the kids and pencils etc. my children used to do jigsaws when we came to stay, now my grandchildren come and enjoy them! Kalbarri has so much to offer. The beaches, cafes, playgrounds, cycle paths, tourist sites , shops, bakeries and most of these things are in walking distance. If you haven’t come to Kalbarri- this is a perfect house!

Reviewer Comments: We love staying at this house although I think the tree/garden bed out the back needs a tidy up, and maybe brick the backyard instead of having the dirt/blue metal rocks out there. We sit outside a lot and it is quite annoying to walk around and duck under the tree when the table is there. Another suggestion I could make is to have at least one decent sharp knife in the kitchen. Other than this the house is spot on, a split system in the lounge room would be very comfortable also. I look forward to my stay again in 2025.

My gripe was the house was more like a stay with your grandparents as a child, not the Kalabari holiday feel. From the old furniture, linen, full carpets, every cupboard had a label which made you feel uneasy. That dinner room table made me feel it was there for show, not to eat off. Could be very well suited to some, but if you are after a place that makes you feel like you are on a "Kalbari get away", it doesn't give this vibe. Did bring back good memories of Nan tho. :)

Great house in a great location

This house is perfect for a holiday. It is neat clean and tidy and in a fabulous location. It is also secure and has everything that you need. Its only a 5 minute walking distance from the house to town and a stones throw from the water. And the yard was very secure for my two dogs.

With shops in the area closing so early it would be fabulous to arrive to a small starter-pack (eg) 5 teabags, 2-cup container of milk, 3 sugar sachets, 1 'coin-size' piece of soap, and a toilet roll. I understand it is the customers job to supply these for the stay but even miniatures of these products to arrive to at night when everything is closed would have been SO helpful and welcoming.

Reviewer Comments: Located across the road from Pelican shores accomodation , near hospital, physio , river mouth , nice stroll to the main part of town in less than 10 minutes . 3 bedroom brick house , main room has double bed , drawers and hanging space for clothes ( also has old tv and spare drawers , carpeted , bedrooms 2/3 have 2 single beds , drawers and hanging space for clothes , carpeted rooms , Seperate Toilet , bathroom , laundry with washing machine ( bit old and odorous ) Pets permitted outside , has a gate to the side of the house which leads to the back yard ( small boat or trailer can fit there . Under cover carport .Kitchen with cutlery , plates etc , gas stove ,electric oven , no dishwasher .Was not very clean at our most recent stay -I took photos and plan to forward to Ray White team for review .Overall was ok for what we needed .

The location was fantastic, and I had an absolutely lovely time during my stay. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.One of the highlights of the property was the great backyard and entertaining area. It was the perfect place to relax and spend time with friends and family, and we enjoyed many meals and drinks out there in the beautiful weather.While the property was generally great, there were a few small things that could have made it even better. For example, having a split system in the living room and other areas of the home would have been nice, as would proper cutting knives, a bath mat, and a door on the shower instead of a curtain. Additionally, the option for a mid-stay sheet and towel change would have been appreciated.Despite these small suggestions for improvement, I would still highly recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in a great location. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.
