Gold in Kalgoorlie.

Great motel, lovely and helpful staff. Has all the motel requirements. The included continental breakfast is very good. It is on Hannan St, so handy to most things.

The only place I stay when I'm in Kalgoorlie! Love the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. Water pressure in the shower is amazing!!! Would be great if onsite restaurant had a bit more of a menu selection.

An automatic pancake machine!! This place not only gives you a FREE continental breakfast but they have an automatic pancake maker. This was the perfect place to finish our two week trip around southern WA. Highly recommend

Hospitality provided great dining options, the facility was close to town. the room provided comfort, space and access although our room was situated on the first floor, no so good for our knees. Will know next time we book. Being so close to the highway did result with some noisy traffic early in the morning. Overall, our stay was enjoyable.

Lack of power points in the room

I found the lack of power points a bit frustrating. I travel for work and use my laptop to produce reports and the only power point available was at the other end of the room from where the table and chairs were located. Not conducive for business travel if you need to plug in for power. On the bright side, the staff at reception and the restaurant were very friendly. The meal was served quickly and had a generous portion.

The accommodation was fair to good. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I was however disappointed with the evening meal. We only had the choice of a buffet. I felt that the price per person ($38) was far from good value. The food was poor and looked and tasted like it had been in the Bain-Marie for hours.

Family room - if your kids all share the one bed!

Pre-check in via system was a waste of time, I still needed to check in at the reception, which took a while. The facility did not register my choices and continued to knock on the door - even though we had asked for 3 days of uninterrupted peace - and paid extra for it. Restaurant was overrated, but there are better options around town.
