This hotel is very basic but very charming. It is accessed by a dirt road of 4 km and staff will arrange tuk tuks as necessary. One good thing is that you will not be bothered by people selling items on the beach, the locals are mainly fishermen and it was fun watching them fish off the beach. It is very relaxing and the pool is good and well maintained. The staff are all very helpful and will arrange tours and special food orders. The walls of the beach villa are made of palm leaves with open areas which allow insects in but the bed does have a very efficient mosquito net, which they will spray with repellent. There is no ac, fridge, tv or wifi in the room. Part of our bathroom was in a small compound with no roof but clean .The communal areas are open with no ac and could do with fans to move the air around. If you have no appetite for nature being close, this may not be the place for you. As a final recommendation , the vines growing the sand by the beach could be removed, as they can be a trip hazard.
