Un véritable coup de cœur pour ce petit hôtel situé au cœur de Kampot. Style art-déco omniprésent depuis le lobby aux chambres en passant par le bar et la piscine. Même la nourriture est top !

Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Kampot!

This was an amazing stay. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure me and my friend were well looked after. We got some great food recommendations and they were so helpful in organising tours and tuk tuks. Unfortunately my friend fell ill whilst we were there and the staff were so kind and caring. The decor was amazingly done, it was such a stylish and chic place to stay!

This is the place to stay in Kampot. Of the four locations across Cambodia, this was it for me. Convenient and gracious staff who go out of their way to impress. Magnificent.

This charming hotel blends art deco style with a tropical ambience, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere.The hotel’s design is well thought out with an innovative layout. The decor features vibrant shades of yellow and aqua with lush greenery, making it a visual delight. The open-air layout and the surrounding tropical plants create a serene environment that feels like an oasis in the heart of Kampot. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff at Hotel Old Cinema were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions. Every meal we had was a treat! The breakfast was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of options that were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We stayed in one of the superior king suites, which did not disappoint. The room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a large balcony with an extra daybed that was perfect for relaxing.

Mon hotel préféré à Kampot

2ème sejour dans cet hôtel à l'architecture surprenante, dans un ancien cinéma totalement et brillamment restauré. L'équipe est sympathique, très professionnelle. L'hôtel est très bien placé, en plein centre, et très confortable. Je vous le recommande.

An oasis in Kampot

Very friendly and informative staff. All aspects had been thought out. Hotel has a very quirky and fun theme. Helped us arrange a couple of rickshaw trips. Food was great. Hotel clean. And my wife loved the sheets

The staff was excellent. Jilly (sp?) was lovely. She was so helpful and friendly and just such an engaging person . The food was excellent. The 2 cats that live there (Nina and Simone) were very sweet and friendly. The location is great and you can walk to anything you want to see in town. If you want to visit a pepper farm the staff is happy to coordinate for you. The only negative for me is that the beds are super duper firm. I like a soft mattress so it wasn’t comfortable for me, but if you don’t mind a really firm bed, this is the place for you.

When we first arrived at the hotel, we were a bit taken back by the outside appearance, but then when we entered a sanctuary opened up. The free standing facade is a left over from the old cinema, the hotel behind has been completed in 2019. The rooms are clean and cosely furnished, it feels like you are staying with friends. For staff and service i would give 10 stars, they are incredible. Breakfast is a la cart, and they always offer you extras which are not on the menu, best breakfast during our 2 weeks trip in Cambodia!

Outstanding! With one caution.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast! Funky but tasteful decor -- real personality to the hotel. Great location in downtown Kampot. Did booked here for a second night. Would be my first choice again. One caution: the stairs in this building might present an accessibility challenge for older adults or people with injuries. So if you need wheelchair access or strongly prefer an elevator (to travel only one floor), this might not be your best choice. Otherwise, can recommend whole-heartedly and do plan to repeat business here next time I am in Kampot.
