POOL/SPA CLOSURE FOR RESURFACING SEPT 7 TO OCT 4, 2025.  PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS IS STILL AVAILABLE DURING THIS TIME.  We can’t wait to welcome you to this exceptional property located at the world renowned Mauna Lani Resort. The Palm Villas is a small, gated complex nestled between the 17th fairway and a historical preserve. With only 44 units in this complex, you can be sure of a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the crowds in larger, more heavily populated areas. The Palm Villas has its own waterfall pool, hot tub and exercise room. If you need more, the resort spa and fitness center is right across the road complete with tennis court, lap pool and bicycle rentals, for additional fees.

The unit itself is designed with the vacation guest’s needs always in mind and it is completely turnkey furnished. All linens, dishes, pots and pans are provided as well as everything else needed in a well-equipped kitchen such as coffee maker and grinder, blender, toaster, etc. The kitchen itself is beautiful with granite countertops and lovely cabinets. The open design creates inviting gathering areas between the kitchen, dining and living room areas, as well as the very popular lanai with its own gas grill.

The three bedrooms have been carefully decorated to ensure comfort and relaxation.  The master has a beautiful king sized bed, the front guest has a queen bed and the other guest room has two twin beds that can also be pushed together to create a king.  The unit has two bicycles that are available to guests to use around the area.  These make it great to ride to the beach!  There's a brand new large flat screen TV in the living room and a new flat screen in the master bedroom.  Each with a cable box.  

Staying at the Palm Villas you will feel worlds away from the everyday hustle and bustle, yet you are only moments away from so many wonderful activities and experiences. To name a few: • Beaches, snorkeling, historic fish ponds, trails for walking and hiking • Private beach club, two championship golf courses • Fine dining, art galleries, shopping, full service grocery store and free entertainment Whether you are a frequent visitor to Hawaii Island, or this is your first time, you are certain to enjoy the unique experience staying at such a special property offers. As an added advantage, this unit is locally managed and so assistance is only a phone call away, a big advantage when so far from home. 

The Palm Villas requires parking in the garage and only one guest parking pass.  Max of two vehicles.  No commercial vehicles allowed in the Palm Villas complex.

Great condo, amazing location

The condo was great! It was literally across the street from the pool. And the access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club was amazing. Great beach for kids, clean bathrooms, and good shade. We ate dinner most nights on the lanai and watched the sunset.I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous Stay at Palm Villas

Our family had a great stay at this condo at the Palm Villas at Mauna Lani. The condo was great and very well stocked for kitchen supplies, pots, and pans. The bedrooms were comfortable. The location was perfect with an easy walk to the beach, hotel, and access to the wonderful Beach Club. We absolutely recommend!

Absolute Perfect Location !!

We were so grateful that we found this property! Such quick and easy walks to nice beaches, or easy short drives to other nice beaches! I was surprised to see how much they had stored in their garage that I don't believe was on the listing, but truly made our vacation even better! Especially the wagon for our little one! Thank you, and we would 100% book again and next time we'll remember to leave the pool key!!!

Wonderful condo!

Nice and Cozy

Condo was great for my family of 5. Everything you could possibly need was included. Location was great. Pool was wonderful and steps from the front door. Beautiful walking path close by that leads to beach access. The private beach was excellent and a short drive away. Nice having a garage to use. Bikes were fun. Unfortunately a lot of the snorkeling gear was broken but that was no fault to the owners, just the last guests I’m sure. We would stay again for sure if we make it back to the Big Island in the future.

Lovely condo, quiet neighborhood

A wonderful week on the Big Island

Palm Villas is a wonderful place to stay when you are vacationing on the Big Island. Everything is within walking distance, and you couldn't ask for a better kept complex and units.

Well Appointed and classy

We’ve stayed in over half a dozen units at the Palm Villas. Our staycation began years ago. We enjoy how quiet the property is and how the pool is often left for our use. The convenient location to other amenities and restaurants is another plus. This unit was set up wonderfully. No hassle getting in, using a front door code was not necessary. The use of the keys, pool fob, garage code and the Beach Club gate access card, were clearly displayed and made easy to use. We were most impressed with how well appointed, classy and of a simplistic style this unit showed. All you need to be at home exists. We forgot our boombox but the Bluetooth speaker available to use, was more than ample. The unit is very clean and tidy, as was the garage. Our next stay? We will most likely select this unit once more. Working with Jane and Tiphany at Big Island Living, was a dream. They are super helpful and accommodating. They are prompt to respond and provide solutions with east. They are the best. Couldn’t have had a great time without them. Mahalo, Charlie

Big Island Getaway

Our overall experience was great. This place had all the amenities one would need which was greatly appreciated for a family of 5. The location was perfect, easily accessible to the beach and a perk to use the private beach for the club. I rated the place 4 star vs 5 because we had ants in the guest bathroom during our stay. However, I mentioned this to Jane the property manager when we were leaving which she was appreciative of the information and would notify pest control. There were personal toiletries there too which I wasn't sure if it was meant for other guests to use or just not removed from previous. The property management was very attentive and responsive in a timely fashion. I would stay here again. Mahalo!!

Great location in Mauna Lani resort, with tons of extras

We stayed for 11 nights, and this is a great property. Spotlessly clean and so well equipped! Not only did they provide lots of beach towels, 2 bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. - the kitchen was completely kitted out with blender, coffee grinder, lots of tupperware and utensils, spices, etc. Location is terrific and the private parking/chaise lounges/cabanas at the Mauni Lani Beach Club were heaven. It's a spectacular half moon of a beach with great snorkeling and calm waters. Honestly, the beach club was nicer than the beach in front of the hotel. We had one problem while there (something broke) and the property managers had it fixed in a matter of hours ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. I wish I could rate this condo 100 stars.

Quiet, peaceful, well-appointed

A lovely, quiet and peaceful 3 bedrm condo with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely lenai. Easy 5 minute drive to the Beach Club and 300 feet to the historic trailhead which winds down past lava tubes to the fish ponds. Easy parking, 2 bicycles, walk 100' to the pool. Tons of towels, beach chairs...the hosts have added many nice touches.

Amazing stay with so many extras

We absolutely lived moved our stay! The location was wonderful with access to 3 wonderful beaches. The rental included so many extras such as water shoes, snorkel gear, beach chairs and towels. We cooked several meals and they had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. We also extended our stay 1 day and they were so accommodating. Loved this place. Oh yeah the pool is spectacular too!

Great spot at the Palm Villas. Perfect location. Condo is in good shape. Property management was very responsive when the water didn't work in one of the bathrooms. When the water issue couldn't be resolved during the stay, they proactively offered a discounted stay, which was appreciated. Loved having the bikes available to ride around Mauna Lani.

A special experience

Wonderful setting and location in walking distance to beach-clean and comfortable. Plenty of beach accessories including beach towels, bikes, snorkeling equipment. Beds very comfortable-AC welcome. Some minor criticisms-a bit dated decor, some lights were out, filter in fridge needs replacement and heard guests above walking and shifting chairs but overall a wonderful experience!
