This propert is excellent,breakfast is very filling and variety was offered,the room temperature seems to be set at 24c when adjusted it defaults to 24c,the temperature out side was 33c,highly recommend this hotel .roof top was great.

Great location overlooking the lake in Kandy, with views of the Tooth Temple. Extremely comfortable room. Rooftop bar and pool were wonderful. We were excellently looked after by the team at the Radisson and would highly recommend this accommodation.

The staff were lovely. But the cleanliness was awful. The room was dusty and sticky and there was even a false nail the floor. Needs a refurb. The smelt musty and the carpet in the corridor was filthy with scuffs all over the walls. Not a 5* more like a basic travel lodge in the uk.

This is a good hotel and staff are very attentive & helpful. I was particularly impressed with our room cleaner (Chamika) who every day surprised us with a beautiful towel sculpture left on the bed. He is really talented! I was, however, disappointed with the room lightin. You have to put every room light on during the evening (waste of electricity) and even then the rooom was not bright enough. It would be far more economical and practical to have a main ceiling light.

**Ramada Inn Colombo International Airport – Review** I recently stayed at the Ramada Inn near Colombo International Airport and had a generally pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the airport, though the surrounding area is quiet and lacks much to do, making it ideal for those looking for a peaceful stopover. The hotel staff were truly exceptional. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed, always with a warm and friendly attitude. Despite the hotel being on a budget, the staff’s dedication to providing excellent service really stood out, and I was very appreciative of their efforts. The hotel itself is a bit dated, and the buildings show signs of age. Some areas could use renovation to bring them up to modern standards, but it didn’t detract too much from my stay. The rooms were still comfortable and well-maintained, and the cleanliness was impressive. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The restaurant offered a wonderful selection, and I was especially pleased with the French entrees, which were a pleasant surprise. I didn’t try the buffet, but the à la carte menu was delicious, reasonably priced, and well-prepared. Overall, while the Ramada Inn Colombo could benefit from some updates, the exceptional service from the hotel staff and the great food made my stay enjoyable and comfortable.

This is the place to book!

My third time at this hotel. While I generally prefer to support a boutique hotel, all exceptions are made to come to Radisson Kandy. And I have yet to question our choice! Irfan, the front desk manager has a superior grip on the comings and going at this hotel. No guest question /problem/concern goes unaddressed-- and his staff follows his lead. The trainees are really more like interns and on a clear management track. The level of anticipation, overall Customer Service, and passion for your enjoyment is unrivaled here in Kandy. As "repeaters", we were greeted like utter royalty, given an upgrade and lovely chocolates in the room as well as comped for breakfast. I can't remember feeling so welcomed anywhere in the world! The staff works Harmoniously and they have a heart for their guests. You feel it, despite the hotel's size. The hotel functions quite well and the restaurants have superior lake views with quite good food to boot--- and even live music (not deafening, quite pleasant, see photo!) at one rooftop spot. Where their seemingly endless repertoire floated from one language to another based on guest requests-- rather astonishing! Management has made many improvements and, as the largest hotel in Kandy, strives for seamless one or two night turnovers and I can confirm that they have got it down. They are developing a concept for a Spa (beyond the current one)-- so no doubt, visit #4 will provide further delight! You will be GLAD that you have picked this hotel.

Ho aspettato 10 minuti per sedermi a colazione al buffet. Il personale non era pronto per accogliere me e mia moglie. Tavoli non sparecchiati, molte persone e disorganizzazione. Sono stato mandato via dal manager del ristorante perché quel tavolo era riservato per un gruppo, ma dopo di me si è seduta solamente una persona. Per quello che ho pagato questo hotel, il servizio della colazione non è all’altezza di gestire il ristorante. Sopratutto la qualità del cibo è scarsa, il pollo era completamente crudo con ancora il sangue.
