“It would be nice for the property to arrange for some food options for the drivers since it is impossible to get there if you are not used to drive in India. The general facilities are great, the kitchen is great and would prepare food for you even if it is not in the menu. The views are stunning, I would definitely visit again.”

“Dinner buffet is really good. February temperature in the room with central heat was good. Hot water - plenty with central heating. Rooms are cosy and clean. Lobby, hallways not heated in the winter (story of the whole region), so you are stuck between room and restaurant. Upstairs is a nice bar on the roof top with pool table. Very quite in hotel. Nowhere to walk from it, hills are steap- in the same.time it's a great location - its peaceful . You need to take taxi to main Street and Dalai……

“The Lodge felt like it could be a great place, but couldn't be bothered. Most staff seemed bored, and not actively involved in managing the place. The description of this place sounds wonderful and passionate! It felt, at best forlorn and neglected. Did something go wrong here? ”

“This hotel has spectacular views of the valley below. It is very clean. Super friendly staff who cater to your needs wonderfully. Our stay here is truly wonderful. Everything is in walking distance. Lake Dal is only a 3 minute walk down the road. A short walk in the opposite direction allows you to see the breathtaking views of the snow capped mountain range above. Restaurant and good food available in hotel. Don’t miss this wonderful location.”

“Good location in McLeod. Spacious room, hot water worked well & although the room was very cold at night, they provided a heater for approx. £3 per night. Good value for money overall! ”

“I opted for presidential suite from this property. However, the room and amenities were below average hotel. There was no proper response from the front desk. It was difficult to communicate to food service/ receptionist due to irregularities in the phone line which was setup in the room. The blankets were very thin and no room heaters were provided. We did remind several time by calling receptionist about the wifi and even in person communicated to receptionist to activate the wifi. However,……
