  • Relax at this quiet house after enjoying all Kansas City has to offer.

    5 min drive (1.5 miles/ 2.4km) to:
    -Kansas City Stadium (GEHA Arrowhead) and Kauffman stadiums
    -Interstates 70 & 435

    10 min drive (7.1 miles/11.4 km) to:

    The space
    The first floor includes an in-unit washer and dryer(free), fully-stocked kitchen, bathroom, and cozy living room with futon that converts to a full sized bed (linens for the futon are located in the closet under the stairs). Roku HDTV with a Chromecast plugged in, just enter your streaming passwords and enjoy a movie.

    Master bedroom with a queen size bed, walk-in closet located on second floor.

    Out the back door of the kitchen, a patio awaits with table and chairs.

    2 assigned parking space directly in front of the house.

    Motion sensor light with camera faces the shared driveway to illuminate your walk to the front door and lockbox. The camera is always recording.

    Free, fast Wifi throughout.

    The house is sprayed for bugs on a quarterly basis.

    I am proud to pay my cleaners a living wage.

    You will have the entire house and back patio to yourself during your stay. All living spaces are private.

    Other things to note:
    This is a smoke and pet-free property. No cigarettes, vaping, cigars, weed or animals of any kind INSIDE the house. smoking on the driveway ok with front door closed. DO not bring used cigarettes or joints etc inside the house, dispose in the white bucket outside. penalty for smoke mitigation is $200.

    check out instructions: Turn the lights off, lock the door, and return the key to the lockbox.

    The house has a legal occupancy of 3 people.

    We are unable to accept bookings from local guests.

    AC during summer no lower than 72 F/22 C. make sure windows and doors are closed when heat/AC is on.

Perfect for our visit

The house was perfect for our stay and visit to KC. Super close to the Royals and Chiefs stadiums. Made our visits very easy. Getting around KC is easy. Independence is super cute and great little coffee shops to visit. Was fun to be close to Truman’s house as well. The house was perfect for everything we needed. Beds were comfy and a welcome to come back to after long tourist days.

This is the second time we have stayed in the Guesthouse. And it will not be our last. We love it! Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood and a 5 minute drive to Kauffman Stadium and Arrowhead. The property owner has equipped the Guesthouse with every amenity possible. An amazing host!

Nice neighborhood and a perfect place for one or two people. I was attending a baseball game and it's close to the pro-sports facilities. Owner was very nice and seemed to want to help with anything if needed. We already discussed when I may be back.

Don’t stay here

The place is poorly insulated, so don’t stay here for a Chiefs playoff game like I did. They provided space heaters that didn’t even remotely help how cold it was in there. The TV turns on and off but other than that nothing works on it. They charge you around 100 in fees which is about what it cost to stay in this shack per night. Super annoyed at this place and how they managed their property.
