1-Star ReviewI may never use Vrbo again after this and highly recommend avoiding KBM.TL;DR: Booking was mishandled, our reserved unit was given away, the “3 free cars” was misleading, A/C issues made a unit unbearable, and belongings went missing. Stressful, unprofessional, and disappointing.We booked a month in advance, received a receipt marked “confirmed,” and I even contacted them twice before arrival. The night before our trip (at 11 PM, with a 4 AM flight and caring for a baby), I was suddenly told our booking wasn’t finalized, no payment had been processed, and our unit was given away and replaced it with an “upgrade”. Vrbo later said KBM should have contacted me weeks earlier for payment. Day of, they scrambled to assign us car rentals the day we arrived. This caused unnecessary stress, especially since two elderly guests were then placed in a less accessible unit. Their “3 free rental cars” ad was also misleading—it was actually 15/day per car.One unit had locked thermostats at 78–80F, making it miserable to sleep in. A tech temporarily overrode it, but it was still warm the next day and never fixed—KBM’s response was “we’ll relay it to our team.”Lastly, I left a couple of items behind that I know exactly where I placed. KBM claimed nothing was found, but I’m convinced the cleaners took them.There was no accountability or compensation offered. I would not recommend them to anyone.
