You can choose from one of the many hiking trails – from easy to full ascents – stopping for lunch at one of the many traditional mountain Alms. Or rent a bike and discover the countryside. And for the adventurous, there are plenty of mountain biking trails to choose from. The pristine Lake Zell is a short distance away and is a perfect spot to enjoy sailing, swimming, and water sports. The Sigmund Thun-Gorge, Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs, Krimml Waterfalls (Europe’s highest waterfall) and the High Alpine Grossglockner Mountain Road are only a short journey from Kapruner Tal Apartment.
In the winter, Kapruner Tal Apartment will be your ‘Alpine home away from home’ where you will have access to some of the best pistes in Austria. For beginners, the Lechnerberg slope is only 350m from your front door. The local resorts of Kitzsteinhorn (100% snow guarantee Oct- early summer), Schmittenhöhe and Familienberg Maiskogel offer over 138km of perfectly groomed pistes. In addition, the Ski Circus at Saalbach/Hinterglemm and the Höchkonig Ski resort at Maria Alm can be reached within 40 minutes by car.
Transport is easy- there is free parking for one car at Kapruner Tal Apartment. Otherwise, a Bus stop and free Ski Bus is located steps from the apartment.
