“Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. The local tavernas do takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking but want to eat at the apartment. The swimming pool area is lovely and relaxing, no fight for sunbeds and plenty of……

“This is an ideal base for a holiday. It is in a very peaceful hamlet with stunning views which raise your spirits every time you gaze out. Fiskardo is a very short drive away with its harbour side restaurants and cafés there are also pretty villages nearby with very good restaurants too. We were very well looked after by the kind and friendly caretakers, who, as well as doing a great job of maintaining this beautiful property, welcomed us warmly and provided us with some delicious home made……

“Hotel was excellent all around, nice pool with view of ocean, room and balcony great view , clean and neat, housekeeping came in every day, owners were very friendly and helpful….. provided maps and insights into sights to visit…… Quiet and location to port, center , and some great beaches were close…… I will return…… never had a chance to sample restaurant( hotel was closing for season)……… I recommend without reservation…. ”

“We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable.……

“Excellent location only 30 yards to the beach, extremely quite, but plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. We only left the beach road on one occasion when friends drove us to a Jaz night. Great shower with plenty of hot water for both of us, and a very comfortable bed. Liked the little veranda which we sat on every night enjoying several night caps. The only small criticism is that not much wardrobe space for a two week space, and would have loved a fridge/frezzer.”

“We were looking for a family vacation in a quiet location in proximity to the beach. This vacation villa ticked all the boxes and as a bonus, we had our own private pool to enjoy as well. Nikoletta was a wonderful host that made sure we had everything we needed. We had two beaches within 3-5 min from the property and the kids had a blast. If you are looking for a storybook location with beautiful nature and beaches that you only see in movies this is the perfect location in northern Kefalonia.”

“Everything you need from a villa and more. Photos do not do it justice. We had a lovely, relaxing holiday. Close proximity to beach and a beautiful cafe/bar with stunning views. Would highly recommend hire of a car to visit the island and also as the villa is not close to shops etc.”

“Stayed here with 6 women and it was perfect, everyone had their own bathroom. Also tons of mirrors! We loved having breakfast by the pool or on the balcony upstairs. It honestly felt too big of a house for us at times. The kitchen had everything we needed plus theres a mini grocery store down the street. Only wish the pool was heated but we did come in sept. The views from the villa are also amazing. We rented a car but also took taxis to Argostoli for drinks and dancing. Easy to book and cost……

“This is a really pretty property- well equipped and a lovely pool with a view! The rooms are spotless & feel like authentic Greece! Great aircon & plenty of attractive outside space. Two spacious bedrooms & a well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable stay. But - the property is hard to find and the final 200m of access road is very rough, not tarmaced and very steep. Not for nervous drivers! And the access path is also very rocky for a short spell although the rest of the path is fine.As per the……

“Great relaxed vibe with super friendly staff and lovely outdoor space. Rooms maybe a little basic but spotlessly clean, spacious and perfectly functional. Some great beaches and restaurants nearby (30 mins walk) but a car is essential for exploring.”
