Great view

The views were fabulous even when the weather got wild. Seeing the rain and wind whip over the sea was wonderful. Communication was great. Lots of places to explore when the weather allows. Need to take cooking basics with you.

Beautiful views

The property is great for families and has everything you need. It is only a short drive or walk to several beautiful and safe swimming and fishing beaches. The views were wonderful. We took our own fans as the property has no fans or aircon and can stay pretty hot at night.

Really enjoyed our stay, so many beautiful beaches nearby to visit and swim at. Only bummer was no wifi or fans!! Was really hot at night.

Spectacular view and location

Gorgeous little Bach with everything provided. We spent more time here than we expected to because it was lovely to sit on grass and soak in the view. So very special.

Glorious stay at Patia Point

We loved staying at Patia Point. The view is better than the pictures. The bach is clean and super comfortable. The whole family loved it. We actually relaxed. Great communication with our host James. We are keen to come back.

Neat property with amazing views. Overall is a little tired though, could with a bit of a spruce up and a better deck. Wifi would be good. And towels for the shower. Had to do a last minute towel buy which is unhelpful as an overseas traveller.

Too expensive

Very nice location and view. I felt it was overpriced, 1000 for 3 nights. No wifi, bbq is very rusty and unusable and deck is small. Also poor selection of DVDs, no information for visitors most places have, small TV. None of this would matter if it was reasonably priced, but if you are charging premium price, make an effort. It's a cute little cottage, but is really not worth 300 a night.

Happy Northland Getaway!

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Patia Point View for three nights, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The views are absolutely breathtaking—pictures just can’t capture the stunning scenery. Waking up to that incredible landscape each morning was a highlight of our trip. The living space was very comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day full of adventures. We especially enjoyed the nostalgia of watching some classic DVDs in the evenings; it added a cozy touch to our stay. One small area for improvement would be the water pressure and heat control in the shower - we couldn't quite figure it out. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we would love to come back! Thank you for making our family getaway so special!

Gorgeous Views

For our first trip to the Far North with our Aussie friends, having water views and a great location were key factors in selecting where to stay. As soon as we arrived, we knew we'd made the right decision. The bach has a charm of its own with its mismatched crockery, glasses, and comfortable couches, and reminded me of childhood summers spent in New Zealand. There's no need to turn on TV when you can simply sit on the deck and enjoy the scenery. The only downside was the BBQ, which we didn’t use as had seen better days. The bach is private and located between two beaches, one is perfect for swimming and surf casting and the other for launching your boat. James provides a document full of helpful details for your stay on the Peninsula. We loved our time there and plan to return. Did I mention the view? It is gorgeous.
