"Marija greeted me at the door with a glass of fresh orange juice and a warm smile. She has a map of Plitvice at the welcome desk and helped me figure out some details for my visit to the park. The lovely room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and convenient to a couple of grocery stores and restaurants. I had some trouble with the bus the following day and Marija and her partner went above and beyond expectations to help me get to Plitvice. Highly recommend these lodgings."

"Zivan was an outstanding host and made planning our visit to Plitvice Lakes so much easier. He showed us exactly where to park and even pointed us toward a local entrance with hidden viewpoints that were completely empty—such a special experience. The apartments were simple to find, very clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. There are a few restaurants and shops nearby, all reasonably priced, but the best meal we had was the one Zivan and his wife cooked for us. It was absolutely lovely. These apartments genuinely feel like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return."

"From every direction the views were just lovely. We stayed in the first week of Nov before the rains. So we had super weather (and a super-moon). Walked the Plicvice National park in the afternoon before our check in. So happy to have a pretty, clean, comfortable, warm, and nicely appointed place for the night. Check in was simple. Hostess made some beautiful individual coffee cakes that were hot and deliciously aromatic, but because our entire family is gluten intolerant, we couldn’t indulge. Really sorry to have missed that!! Beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed. Showers had amazingly good water pressure. Kitchen had tea & tea kettle, coffee and maker, fridge had a little of the local schnapps and a big bowl of apples on the table. We dined at the hotel Degenija and were delighted with the service, gf options, wine snd cocktail selection. Highly recommend it and the Apt Josepa. "

"Villa Stone was amazing. Our host Mata was very accommodating and very personable. We let him know we were interested in dinner at the location and we set a time. Villa Stone has a lovely outdoor area where our host started his wood fire grill and we had the most amazing food , wine and conversation. Very relaxing. We enjoyed the double room with balcony. The room along with bathroom were very spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable It was the decor and little touches that made you feel comfy and at home. If we come back this way it won’t be for Plitfice Lakes it will be stay at Villa Stone again. "

"We stayed in mid-October for one night and had a decent stay. However, there was no air conditioning and no screen on the windows, so if you leave the windows open to cool the room, bugs will get inside. There were many stinkbugs inside already when we arrived. Otherwise, the room and facilities were nice. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. "
