  • Beach huts, Colomb Beach, near Palolem Beach, Goa. Most of the accommodations at Palolem are cabanas such as these, although not all of them are built onto the rocks like these. The torrential rain and high water of these storms would likely tear them apart otherwise, and Goa's government wants to keep the hotels here small-scale and simple. They're also generally very reasonably priced.
