"Our stay at the cottage was exactly the relaxing experience we were seeking. It is cozy, thoughtfully designed, and well-appointed with all the things you need unwind. Our dog was able to amble around the fenced yard, and then we walked across the street to walk the paved trail. It was perfect for our needs of travelling with a senior puppo. The hot tub was the selling point for us, and it did not disappoint! Jason was very responsive and conscientious, and we highly recommend making this a destination for anyone needing a break from stress."

"My friends and I really enjoyed our cozy winter stay! The kitchen was large with plenty of room to cook and hang out and had all the amenities and supplies. I appreciate how many sinks and bathrooms there were so each group could have their own space. Some things to note: It's an old house so sometimes temperature control was odd (it'd feel too cold then too hot). The place is well renovated for modern comfort but there are some quirks. "

"Easy place to stay. Provisions included TP, salt & pepper, nearly anything needed to cook a meal, a fancy toaster oven, and clean linens. The mattress in the first floor bedroom was comfy. I didn’t try the others. :) Owner was easy to contact and very helpful! Great place to stay with our 3 dogs. "

"Unfortunately, this property needs an entire makeover. The pictures online are NOT at all representative of the current condition of this house. Everything inside and outside is extremely outdated. The kitchen needs new cabinets and countertops, the sink faucet barely puts sufficient water out of it to clean a dish, the dishes were 6" plastic that appeared to be children's dishes from a beach house. There was NO glass ware, with the exception of a few coffee mugs...everything else was plastic.The house needs new floors throughout, in addition to a new paint job to make it worth the price point that we paid. The lighting throughout the house is very dark and needs upgraded fixtures.The house overall was not very clean and the cleaning company had to come back after the first couple of hours to re-clean the countertops in the kitchen. The exterior of the house needs a lot of attention as well. There are a number of windows with paint on them, torn screens and chipped paint or rotted window trim. The exterior sidewalks and entry ways are in need of repair and new paint. The upstairs master bedroom had a portable air conditioner that blocked one side of the bed and was extremely noisy. The upstairs bathroom is outdated and needs an upgrade. The downstairs /Basement shower and bathroom are outdated and not clean. This is basically a six bedroom house with one bathroom upstairs that is in need of an upgrade. The upstairs bedrooms are very dark and lack sufficient lighting."

"Renter beware! A nice house but lots of issues. Upon arrival met with several maintenance issues that did not get a response from the host. Upon arrival, I find the screen of the screen is falling out of the door. It had been taped with black electrical tape so it was a known problem. Door on second floor leading to deck had a large gasket just dragging the floor making it difficult to get the doors shut. The coffee table leg was about to fall off.The lower patio was so dirty I had to clean it up myself:sticks, old matted leaves, cobwebs surrounding the back and sides of the hot tub which we had to step into to get the top off. The grill did not light as it should. It was filthy. Sent a message to host immediately. No response. 2 days later maintenance people arrive to fix rotted boards in the sidewalk around the house. Have no knowledge of my complaints. They checked into it and found my email. Later came back to work on the house. Other deficiencies. Kitchen had only 12 forks and 13 spoons. Not what I would expect for a house that is supposed to accommodate 17! Only given 1 roll of paper towels, no extra garbage bags for the kitchen. no dish cloths, one sponge only. Kitchen pans sparse and were scratched up teflon coated ones. Gas stove center burner clicking -off postion! Only 2 towels in my master bath and no wash cloths. Towel hook in bathroom falling off the wall. We were looking for a lost baby toy and checked under the couch cushions. YUCK! Lots of food remnants. ."

"This place was perfect. The hosts were very accommodating and kept in contact with us during the whole stay. This would be a perfect place for a family to stay, or anyone for that matter. "
