“It’s a small inn but the location is excellent and the staff is endlessly helpful. The public bath is nice but like the private bath in my room was a little worn out and I can definitely see someone getting a splinter if they behave like a fools. The daily breakfast was a delightful spread of classic Japanese dishes and everyday a cup of tea and a snack was waiting for me when I got back in the from heat.”

“The staff were beyond friendly and hospitable! My friend staying with me was having medical issues and we were immediately offered help/accommodations in any way possible. The bath has a fantastic view over Nara, the property is nestled amongst some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen, our room was very cozy, and the breakfast in the morning left us full and satisfied. Somehow in a Country other than my home, I felt right at home. If I ever come back to Japan, I’d be remiss if I didn’t……
