"This hotel is best described as "tired". It has seen better days. In my room the carpet was dirty, the bathroom smelled strongly of mold, and the water gurgled slowly out of the sink. The sheet on my bed was torn in two places, and I wondered if it would last the scheduled three days without disintegrating. When my daughter went into the bathroom, she was greeted by a large insect on the floor. Personally, I would not stay there again."

"Breakfast was very good at the Sushimaru restaurant downstairs. We also ate dinner there too. We chose Chef’s Omakase. It was very reasonable in price, and the food was very enjoyable with seasonal ingredients. Staff was courteous. Room was very clean and quiet. Over all our experience at this hotel was 10 out of 10. It’s one minute walk from Dogo Onsen Honkan. We highly recommend. "
