Great location and amenities
The Good: the apartment is spacious and in a good location, within a 15-minute drive to Nea Potidea, Nea Fokea, Afytos, and grocery stores. We loved the private beach (with umbrellas and lounge chairs!), and the community pool. We also loved the backyard. And it was very nice to have a washing machine.The Not-as-Good: there are no stores or restaurants in walking distance. The apartment is laid out over 4 floors (about 1 room on each floor), connected by a dangerous spiral staircase. There is no bathroom on the top floor, which was a concern for our kids sleeping on that floor. If you have very small children or people with mobility problems, this layout would not work for you. There are 3 bathrooms, but not enough water pressure to use more than 1 shower at a time (and even that shower had low pressure). 3/4 floors have air conditioner units, but you can only run 2 at a time to avoid shorting out the electricity. The Could-Be-Improved: we were only given 5 towels for the 5 of us, for a multi-day stay. No extra towels for the beach or pool. No extra bedsheets in case of child accident. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, but there was no salt or olive oil. There was a coffee maker but no ground coffee or pods. Some of these basic supplies would have really improved our stay.
