“We were there for our granddaughter’s wedding at Adaland Mansion. This was a convenient location for traveling to and from the event. The house was beautifully decorated and very roomy for a large family. Everything was clean and comfortable. The rain kept us from enjoying the outdoors but there was lots of room for outdoor sitting and grilling. Sherry is an exceptionally good host. I would recommend the riverfront home to anyone traveling to that area.”

“This cabin was exactly as described. The area is remote with room to explore the property. There is no cell signal but there is quality WiFi if needed. The creek behind the cabin was cool. Our dogs were able to roam and we all enjoyed our time outside. The outdoor furniture could have been a little more comfortable but I saw the pictures beforehand so we brought our camping chairs. “We had a great 4 day break and were looking for somewhere quiet compared to most Memorial Day lake locations. The house is right on the river. THe levels were low so it was more thans afe with supervision for our 4 kids ages 4-9 out there. We tubed and kayaked down the river. Unfortunately, water levels were too low for us to get the canoes out but the property has them as well for a very modest watercraft fee ($75) that covers the entire stay. The setting is beautiful, quiet, and full of……

“Really nice property and cabin; however, we were only there an hour and a half before a transformer blew and the power was cut off due to a windstorm. So we were unable to spend the night. The owner was amazing and understanding and submitted a full refund. I would love to book again another time and have the opportunity to enjoy it.”

“This property was clean, maintained and had everything we needed. The owner provided a lot of little nice touches, with premade bags for smores, snacks, packaged toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. The area is beautiful and has lots of deer to watch. My family had plenty of room to gather and visit as we all came in from separate states to celebrate my recently passed Mother's life. This was a great property to stay at while in Buckhannon. “This is a cute little place that’s a 2 minute walk to the Fiddle! It was too cold to use the deck out back but there’s a small fire place and it’s hidden from the road. It has everything you need and a nice efficient kitchen. ”

“Great location. Property was clean with nice amenities. I always like a good shower and nice bathroom towels. This had both along with a lot of other really nice features. It's just a short walk to art galleries, shops, and restaurants (yes, there are a few in Thomas). And if you like music the amazing Purple Fiddle is also a short walk away. Highly recommended!”
