GHSA State Baseball

My family and I traveled to Houston County for the GHSA baseball state playoffs. I am so thankful we found this home. It was so nice to be able to bring my parents back to the house between games and the rain delay. They house was just as beautiful as describe in the posting, with everything we needed. The neighborhood was new and family friendly. Communications were prompt and effortless!!

Beware: Inaccurate Listing, Unlocked Windows, Bones and Poop in Yard

I initially booked a different, much nicer looking property with many more amenities months prior. About a month and a half prior to my visit, the manager let me know he would not be able to honor my initial reservation and moved me to this location. I was worried that this listing did not have any reviews but everything in the area was already booked for the big event I was attending so I felt stuck. The property lacked many items that the manager claimed should have been there and the kitchen items were incredibly sparse in a "fully stocked kitchen". This was especially difficult as I needed to cook all of my meals for a 5 night stay. There was not anything that could be used in the oven, no cutting board, drying rack, cooking oil, spices. Broken soap dispensers. The manager had a couple of tiny cookie sheets, vegetable oil and a cutting board delivered, but the cookie sheets were not nearly sufficient to cook full meals and were not delivered until I had already needed to cook. The backyard was full of chicken bones and a large rotting cow bone as well as dog poop. The fridge smelled very rotten. I found multiple windows unlocked (which were difficult to access/locate behind curtains/furniture). To be honest, something felt really off about the manager, change in location/booking, condition of the home and my communications. I wish I had seen reviews of this property to support my booking decisions and I very much hope this helps others in the future.
