Excellent stay at Hideaway. The fanciest hotel in this area with a 2025 Michelin Key. Going to Tenorio volano national park was only a 2 min drive. The grounds of the hotel are spectacular. The hotel is nestled in the rainforest and has 2 private trails to rio celeste. We got a free upgrade to a rainforest view room. We also enjoyed a complimentary yoga class with an excellent yoga teacher and a complimentary night tour with a knowledgeable guide. The staff was very friendly. The only negative point is that the restaurant is quite expensive (200-250 USD for 2 suppers depending if you get drinks/appetizers/desserts) and the food was just okay. The breakfast was quite tasty though. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay very memorable.

The Hideaway is top shelf. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the awesome spa. We will comeback the next time we are in Costa Rica . It is located close to Rio Celeste falls and has river access you can hike a short distance to see.

Très bel hôtel, très bien situé proche du Rio céleste. L’avantage est qu’il possède deux accès (trail) accessible temps de se baigner, ce qui n’est pas le cas lorsque l’on est près de la cascade. Tout le personnel est absolument charmant et serviable. Le petit déjeuner buffet est vraiment incroyable ( spécialités locales)avec un menu où on peut commander des spécialités. Nous avons dîné au restaurant sur place ainsi qu’au restaurant asiatique, les plats étaient très bien servis et très bons. Spéciales pour la chambre, absolument fabuleuse de par sa surface et sa déco typique. Dès que vous entrez l’odeur du bois prend toute sa place et la vue depuis la terrasse sur la verdure est juste « Pura Vida »… Le plus également: la douche extérieure …Excellente étape .

This was our first stop in our 10 day trip and we loved almost everything about this hotel. The service was outstanding, the aesthetic of the property was impeccable, and our room was divine. The only thing I would criticize would be the prices of the food available. We ordered ribs for lunch which cost $33 and they gave us 2 ribs which were smaller than my 9 year old son's fist. We ended up eating in town most of the nights there. Their complementary breakfast was delicious though.
