“This place was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! We loved our very short stay so much. In fact, if we had to plan our big island trip all over again, we would have extended our stay at this beautiful gem tucked away in the jungle. How cool to be able to go from the front porch on a walk through steam vents, with information along the way about local flowers and plants. This place just feels well loved, and we were so thankful we were able to stay there. Thanks, Jacklynn!!! We hope to see you again……

“This is an out-of-the-way gem (but easy to get to). Clean, and close to shore to hear waves crashing. Host was superb! Unit was smaller than expectation. Hard to use luggage rack and move around. Not so certainly about "see whales and dolphins" - but maybe it was wrong time of year. Checking and communication with host was great (5/5)!”

“My family stayed at 'The Aloha Green House' Retreat w/ Ocean Views! at of our recent vacation on the Big Island, and we had an amazing visit! The location is amazing—complete with beautiful views of the ocean—which was especially nice in the morning as we were getting started with our day. On a clear night, it would also be a fantastic spot to star gaze. The space is beautifully furnished, meticulously maintained, and had everything our family of four could have wanted or needed. We made great……

“We got in late, the lights in the parking area not working and such limited parking left, it was almost impossible to get our car in. The rest of the stay was fine. We Loved hearing the tree frogs and is close to the National Park.”

“If you don’t mind living off grid. Then this would be a good fit for you. It’s way way out in the jungle so it’s not as convenient as some people may like. You are in nature, which is wonderful. It is definitely not a 4G network. It’s T-Mobile and the Internet is sporadic.”

“Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. ”
