「The unit was clean and well equipped for us to relax, make many of our own meals, and get good nights sleep. We were worried about bugs when we saw many windows didn’t have screens, but that didn’t prove to be a problem. We enjoyed our stay and would come back. 」

「What a great location very near to Volcanoes National Park. The unit is extremely large and very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and even though there was a slight mixup with our reservation, they were able to rectify it extremely quickly. My only recommendation would be that they provide a small smart TV that you can stream your devices. There is no need to provide cable anymore since everyone travels with their own devices. A Drying Rack would be very helpful as well.」

「Think of it as luxury camping and you'll be happy. If your idea of comfort is umbrella drinks by the pool, you will not. Personally, I loved it. But it's not for everyone. This is a rustic cabin in the jungle. 4.5 miles off the main road, 2.2 miles of it is dirt (well maintained, regular cars not a problem). 15 minute drive to nearest civilization (the part of the description being in the middle of a historic town is inaccurate - it's 7 miles outside a historic town). 「Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. 」

Our hosts communicated in great detail. Make sure you read their text before you get there for the best stay. 」
