「There are sanitary issues. I heard and saw rats. There were bunch of trash bags by an entrance. A bathroom had very strong smells. I had to leave there in the second day. The owner didn’t reply and fix problems. 」

「This was an awesome place with a great location. Close to transit but few tourists. It was perfect for our family of four. (The futons were so comfortable, we bought the same one for our bed when we got home.) Would highly recommend!」

「The place is clean with tiny shower. I hate the check-in process and the time (10am out, 3pm in which is cheating). I like the surrounding area with many restaurants. It's not English's friendly area, btw. The area is clean. I did not see any roach after 3 days when 1 sneaked under the broken door seal (I killed it so it's safe now:)」

「My family had constable stay at the Vanilla Hotel at Fukagawa. The room is new and fairly clean. The location is excellent: there are train station, convenient stores, many stylish cafes, a clean coin laundry, and restaurants. There staff was polite and thoughtful; she rent us a couple of umbrellas on rainy days. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. HEADS-UP: the kitchen doesn’t provide cookware and dishwater. The shower doesn’t have a shower curtain. I showered while kneeling down in the tub....

「This is our 2nd time staying for a month at this beautiful, well-appointed apartment. It felt so nice to feel like we were coming back to our "Tokyo home." The location is great - close to multiple subway lines, walkable to many neighborhoods, and peaceful near the Sumida River. Yukari & Eiichi are wonderful hosts. We definitely recommend this property!」
