“Ka Ge Bay is a wonderful getaway from HCM, about 2.5 hrs away by car. The ocean is lovely (although I never swam in the ocean) to watch from the hotel. The staff were warm and friendly, although some were very inexperienced. Some went out of their way to make us feel comfortable (my wife loved the cassava cake and one member made sure she got a piece). We especially enjoyed Nhu in the restaurant. The Vietnamese food was quite good, but the chef was clearly not as comfortable with Western……

“Language barrier had an impact in our stay. We booked for an overnight stay unfortunately we had an event that may last hours. At 3am, I told one of the staffs that we will extend our stay (using a google translator) for few hours, and we got an OKAY. Few minutes before 12 noon (check out time) I asked the front desk to confirm about the few hours extension upto 4pm so that we can rest but the front desk said, "you need to get out." I begged to reconsider and even asked for any room but the……

“in general it is fine, but the wifi & room service has to be improved. the wifi is too weak, and after the staff clean up our room, they forgot to give us the new towel. when we called the receptionist, they kept finding the excuse and asked us to wait for tomorrow, although they gave us the new towel finally. ”

“Very disappointing experience. The property feels run-down and poorly maintained, the beds are uncomfortable, and the amenities are average at best. The grills were broken, towels weren’t provided, and even the communal pool lacked basic conveniences like pool towels or a pool bar. There were also no open restaurants nearby, leaving very little to do.
For a property advertised as a “luxury villa,” the experience fell far short of expectations. Nothing about the stay felt luxurious, and the……
