"Peaceful place. Has everything you need. The bathroom is nice and roomy. Small place that does not feel small. Very clean. Well labeled with information. The remodeling is well done giving a feel of the past but with modern conveniences. Would definitely go back. Next time I will check the lunar calendar when the full moon occurs. It was a beautiful moon, but, nixed the star gazing! Lots of good history on display on the premises. It is an ideal place to stay if going to the Chiricahua Monument. "

"My husband and I had a great time at the Hummingbird Ranch because it was a comfortable clean house, quiet area, everything is there you need in the kitchen or entertainment like interesting books to read or 100's of DVD's to watch. There is also plenty of entertainment outside watching the hummingbirds, cactus wrens, thrashers, orioles, hawks and even a Great Horned Owl. The night skies are also a show that can entertain you for hours and a chance to see the International Space Station if the timing is right. Going off the ranch is also fun to hike at Cochise Stronghold or the amazing rock formations at Chiracahua National Monument. Wine tasting at Willcox or visiting the western town of Tombstone plus much more. Our hosts, Renee and Steve are very proactive in making sure your needs are met and provide lots of notes and directions around the house on how things work in case you need the help. We would definitely rent this place again."

"What a fantastic jewel in the desert! I hosted a Monsoon Photography Workshop at the Painted Pony. It had everything we needed and more that we didn't need. Everything is well laid out when it comes to the living, dining, and food preparation areas. Plenty of room inside and outside the facilities. "Love this place! Beautiful setting, quiet, peaceful. Lots of birds. House is lovely, fully furnished. Comfy bed, full kitchen. Easy access to Chiricahua, a must see. Johnny Ringo's grave is less than a mile away, check it out. Rob & Sharon are wonderful hosts! Very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and history. And great to talk to. Everything was great. We will definitely return!"
