The location means you are ideally situated to enjoy the beautiful beaches close by, including those at Spartia (2.1 km), Avithos (3.2 km), St Thomas (6.8 km), Trapezaki (7.6 km) and of course Paliolinos at Klismata (1.9 km), plus more..................
It's a short walk to the village mini-market at 'Green Corner', where the family also operate 'The Olive Square' for locals to enjoy daytime refreshments and drinks or souvlaki in the evenings.
Avithos beach is host to two tavernas, Enetiko and Preview, and is the home of the Sarris Winery.
The neighbouring village of Spartia has 2 mini-markets and two cafes in it's charming square, and a choice of tavernas.
