「The HOST (aka managing rental company needs to improve upon their communication. Per Vrbo confirmation, the access code was to be sent at Noon on day of arrival. Then HOST said it would be sent before check-in time was was 4pm. We did not get the code until 5:45PM and this was after alot of phone calls and help from island residents. 「The house is old but that is a major part of its charm. It was spotless and not having to pack my own linens was the deciding factor in deciding to stay there. 「Almost located on a busy road and road noise was very prevalent during the daytime. Evening hours the noise significantly. This is a story and a half home and there is no bath or shower facilities on the second floor. The home has a long single lane driveway that you can park a boat on but getting in and out on the busy road during the daytime was difficult. 「We had a wonderful stay at this home. Everything was clean and well-appointed and the location was convenient for access to the amazing Spring warbler migration on Lake Erie! We appreciated the fenced yard for our pup, who'd spent 5 days on the road getting to Post Clinton and was ready to stretch his legs. The pack n play and baby gate were very much appreciated when traveling with a little. We did run out of toilet paper, however we were just a short walk from CVS so not a big deal.
