Ship Captain’s House

Situated in the heart of Kennebunkport only one block from Dock Square where you can find all the best shops, restaurants and bars. Cozy, nautical decor in a spacious former ship Captain’s residence, situated half a block from the harbor front. Lovely garden with fire-pit and gas BBQ grill on the deck. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen with double ovens and everything required for enjoyable, well appointed dinners with friends. You can walk everywhere, so leave your cars parked in the 4 parking spaces provided, avoiding summer traffic issues. Available for weekly rentals Friday to Friday during June - October - 7 night minimum starting every Friday.

Great place to stay

My family and I visit Maine every summer, we loved this house and plan to return. It was a perfect location and rooms were spacious and comfortable. THe host had so many little touches, e.g. coffee, bathroom essentials, ... available on our arrival it was so easy to relax from Day 1.

Perfect Location!

We loved the location - easy walk to dock square restaurants and shops. Longer but scenic walk to beach (preferred riding bikes there). House was well stocked with pantry items and dishes, cooking utensils/pots/pans, etc. Plenty of room for our multi-generational family of 10! Host/manager were very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Fabulous home

8 friends flew from California and we could not have chosen a better place! House was as described literally a block from town. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for a few chefs to cook up delicious Maine dinners during our stay. Beds were comfortable and showers were Great! The neighbors also so friendly. Two washers and dryers in basement as well. If not for the rain we would have made more use of the yard but we were still able to enjoy our morning coffees on the front porch. Thank you to Nancy and Barbara for making my fireflies visit to my favorite place absolutely perfect!!

Just perfection !

This is a wonderful home with warm touchings spread throughout. Fabulously and fully equipped kitchen, and absolutely clean and spotless. Just a 2-3 minute walk to town. Could not have found a better place to get the extended family together. Thanks to Nancy and her team for such a wonderful stay.

Steps from Town

Recently renovated charming in town house with outdoor space. Half a block from Ocean Avenue, Main Street in Kennebunkport. Lots of room, new bathrooms, nautical themed with lots of bedrooms. Owner very helpful in giving advice on activities and restaurants.
