The air conditioning unit/heat unit was filthy and disgusting~full of so much dust that we breathed it in for our entire stay. Otherwise, the room was clean.The Owner acted as if he had never seen us before every time we came in to order Chinese food and/or check in and check out. I asked him to throw my garbage away and he said that they don't have a garbage even though they have a full working kitchen!! How is this legal? They also don't recycle which is absolutely despicable in this day and age! He told me that nowhere in Kenora recycles which is clearly not true~there are recycling bins all over Kenora. Educate yourselves people! Lastly, the Owner complained when I asked for a couple of extra small packages of sauce for the Spring Rolls, saying that the sauce doesn't come with them.. We just spent 5 nights at your Motel, ordered your Chinese Food for 3 nights, and this is the treatment we get?! Cheap Cheap Cheap. Learn some Hospitality Skills. Thank you

Scramble parking plus spots too small The structure is at the edge of hiway in front but back is very steep. Units are contiguous and built on rock. Not much can be done about terrain. Wooden steps are terraced and wide. Beds in our unit were horrible and are not made up but unit was very clean, minimal and served our needs for a two day, two night stay. Very quiet. Checking in and out fast and simple. Would stay again.

Nous avons remarqué une forte odeur de désinfectant en entrant dans la chambre. Les plinthes semblaient tachées et il y avait des toiles d'araignées et insectes séchés au plafond. Par contre, les draps étaient propres et le lit confortable. Nous ne recommandons pas vraiment...

Room was clean and location is convenient, but a few issues Stayed in Room 9. Overall, the room was fairly clean and the location is very convenient — easy access to transportation and nearby restaurants. However, there are a couple of things that could be improved. The washroom door makes a loud noise when opening and closing, which was quite disturbing, especially at night. Also, the mattress seems to be quite worn out — the springs didn’t provide enough support. I only weigh around 100 lbs, but I could still feel the lack of support, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Not a bad stay overall, but would be much better with a quieter bathroom door and a newer mattress.

Je semblais déranger la personne à la réception, pas très accueillant. Je crois qu’il s’occupait de la restauration aussi. Nous étions au deuxième étage à la chambre 5. Très négligé à l’extérieur. Quand on entre dans la chambre, ça paraît très bien, mais les plinthes, plancher, bain et fauteuils très sales. Lit ok mais sans plus. Un petit balcon par contre, c’était bien. La salle de bain est très petite, pas de place pour déposer des choses. 309$, trop cher pour cette chambre.

I don’t like giving negative reviews but here I go. As soon as we entered the room, the smell of Pin- Sol, or other cleaner, nearly knocked us out. It didn’t go away during our overnight stay. The back window was broken so it couldn’t be locked. The air conditioner was very old and loud, and limited in usefulness. An outdoor light kept going on and off all night. The shade for door did nothing to block out this light. We put a towel over the shad, still no luck. Our sleep was ruined. Extremely disappointing considering the price we paid!?!?! Wow. Should be illegal.

The property looked great from the outside, and the room was reasonably clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Unfortunately, the front desk staff made me feel like just another number, offering very little in the way of friendliness or personalized service. Talking to them always made me feel like there was something more important than me. There was no effort to leave a lasting impression or give me a reason to choose this place again.

Not what I expected and wasn’t worth the 300$+ a night that’s for sure. Problem with AC unit, breaker popped Also pretty dirty outside there was like 3 years of spiderwebs stacked just outside the door for the room. Oh well was last minute and didn’t do my do diligence so it’s my fault.

Our room was clean, bedding was good. We had a problem with our TV which was due to a previous guest unplugging things and the staff fixed it quickly for us! The Inn was a solid 4 star!
