"We absolutely loved how beautiful this little cabin is. Loved sitting on the front porch drinking my coffee in the mornings and listening to the birds chirp. This place is so peaceful and relaxing. Barbara was a wonderful host and came over to check to see if we needed anything. Great location to visit all the local towns around the area and only 30 minutes from the Byrd visitor center and Shenandoah national Park. We would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful cabin peacefully isolated in the Virginia Piedmont region with easy access to Charlottesville and quaint little Scottsville. Cabin was equipped with everything one would need or want for an enjoyable stay. And plenty of outdoor space for our dog to run and for us to hike. We will definitely return here."

"One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out."
