- Chapelfield cottage is set in the heart of the Borrowdale Valley with wonderful views.. Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: TV, Freesat, DVD Player, Electric Woodburner
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Fridge/Freezer, Microwave, Washing Machine
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Lawned garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. Visit England 4 Star.. Chapelfield Cottage is set in the heart of the Borrowdale Valley with wonderful views of the surrounding fells. There are many low level routes to be taken from the doorstep and for those who prefer something more strenuous, Scafell, Great Gable and their surrounding peaks are all possible day trips from the cottage. There is a general store in the nearby village of Rosthwaite and two public bars within walking distance. Derwentwater is three miles and Keswick, with all its visitors attractions is only seven miles. Check out our own website for full details.

a lovely break in peaceful surroundings
Chapelfield Cottage was perfect for the 3 of us. It had everything we needed. The owners live next door in case of any problems. Good sized parking area, room for 2 cars - we have an estate car and sometimes spaces are tight just for 1.

We loved the comfort and the garden and the fact that it was private parking.
We loved the comfort and the garden and the fact that it was private parking. A great place for walkers but also a good bus service to Keswick either short way up Borrowdale or scenic way over Honister.
