「We really enjoyed the fire pit and views in the evening. Location was great. The bedding was comfortable. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was convenient for mornings we were on a schedule. Bathroom was small, but we would definitely stay there again.」

「This was my second stay at this delightful harbor hotel/motel and I will def be back. The owners and the staff are so kind and accomodating. They put me in my requested room, which affords for a lot of privacy, and helped me with laundry. I love walking around the harbor in the mornings and evenings, and it is close to many great restaurants, the beaches, and everything you need. Highly recommended.」

「I’ll start by saying the inn keeper was very nice and helpful (we requested to move rooms as the one we’d been assigned was not acceptable), but having said that… this property has so much potential but at its current condition is sub-par. The outdoor area has rusty chairs, overgrown weeds, animal droppings on the stairs to the rooftop patio, and is in dire need of an overhaul. 「We stayed here before an early ferry ride to Nantucket. It is a very basic, clean hotel. Well located, only 5 minutes from ferries. We arrived very late--around 11:30pm and the man who checked us in, although friendly, took at least 30 minutes to do our check in. It was very frustrating. We were the only people there and he went on and on about all kinds of random things. Something that should've taken about 5 minutes, took an unnecessarily long time. 」

Then, we had to return 1 day earlier to NY due to a wind and rain storm. The reception clerk told us talk to Expedia and they will sort things out making us believe we will get refunded for 1 night. Called Expedia, they called the hotel, the hotel said no refund. So why make us go through the process if you knew we won't get refunded. Be honest...

Did not like the breakfast choices, breakfast eating area was congested, too many tables and chairs. Overall hotel is very clean and quiet atmosphere. Love the area, walking distance to the mall and other shops. I would definitely stay again if in the area.」

「Pool, Hot tub and staff were all great. I just had a hard time with the musty, mildewy smell in the room. Maybe it needed aired out? Maybe there was some mold around the AC unit? If that is addressed, Freebird would be a great place to spend the weekend on Cape Cod.」
