"This cabin is the cutest and coziest gem! Myself, my husband and our 2 kid's (9&7) enjoyed every minute of their spring break vacation! From the moment we arrived, it was basketball, swinging, and tons of games. They literally have stuff for all ages from puzzles, busy boards, and cards to a computer - my kids got to game a bit. There are SO MANY things to do on the property! The whimsical trail, the yard games, DVD collection, etc. And our munchkins had their very first fishing and dock experience, including a cold plunge in the lake! The placement of the hot tub is great because you can either view the water and stargaze or watch TV lol We enjoyed the complimentary smores, wine, treats, and made use of the grill. When they say "just bring you and your food" they mean it! FULLY stocked kitchen, paper products, appliances and seasonings included, but make sure you bring butter/oil to glaze the pans or Walmart is only 20 minutes from the cabin to grocery shop. My kids enjoyed heating their beds at night and playing the Gameboy together in the room. I appreciated the Easter/Bunny decor and pillow covers as I love celebrating holidays/themes. The land is beautiful, the views are surely a sight, bird chirps, deer, and chipmunks were a plus. We also got to go home with clean clothes! (Pack pods) We had an amazing stay and didn’t want to leave. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us, we loved it!"

"Check in was quick and easy. I was to stay at the external building right across the parking lot. The room was large with a kitchen and nicely updated bathroom. The room was quiet and I slept great. "

"My first visit to West VA. What a great rental, so clean and comfortable, dog friendly, close to shops, hiking, pubs and restaurants in Davis. The owner couldn't have been more friendly. We had a great bonfire, cooked on the grill, walked the trails and walked to the beautiful creek right on the property. Only good things to say about THE Garagemahal! Beautiful area!"

"Room description not accurate at all!! We booked a room with what we thought was a balcony but it did not have a balcony. It was a raised porch on front of building with no seats other than a wooden bench not suitable for sitting to enjoy the outside. There was a picnic table over near the steps. This was a shared porch. The breakfast was nothing more than limited grab’s go. Not even edible the muffin case had stink bugs laying around the outside. This made it unappealing to want to eat anything from breakfast bar. I think the marketing department needs a to make some adjustments to descriptions. "
