Family Place

Perfect for a 2 night stay while attending a wedding. Would stay there. Great walk behind the condo along a river.

Nice condo, mediocre management company

The condo was older, but was well-maintained and clean. The owner clearly cares about the property. The location was fine for skiing - there was a shuttle stop nearby, so that worked great.The management company was pretty mediocre. We had an issue with one of the toilets and I called and left several messages until someone finally responded. It seems that someone came out to address the issue, but we never heard from them again or got a confirmation that they did something or that they were done.I'd recommend the condo overall.

bait and switch

The property is old and not updated. Carpets are dirty and need to be replaced and runners placed Bookcases with toys, games and DVDs are a huge mess. seat cushions are old and falling apart. There is only one kitchen towel and NO OVEN MITS. I bought some kitchen towels and left them( you're welcome) the twin beds are old and gross. the "drawer below the sink kept falling off and hitting our feet. The TV stand in the master has a broken wheel and lists badly. There are only six teaspoons and only 10 spoons in total. The owners need to visit and put in some work.

Great family ski vacation!

This condo was the perfect size for my family. Very spacious. Enjoyed the tv’s in all the rooms and two bathrooms. The short walk to the pool & hot tub were my girls’ favorite thing to do after a long day of skiing. We would definitely rent here again.

3-day weekend getaway before back to school

The listing was just as described and pictures of the property and amenities were all accurate. The property itself was tucked pretty far back into a little cul-de-sac, but was considered a positive. We liked our east-facing mountain view. We slept with the windows open every night and could hear a little road noise, but it wasn't awful. The condo itself, while accurately listed, did show signs of its age a little bit with the decorations and amenities.The front door was a bit hard to open.The lighting was very odd to find the correct switches and there weren't lights where we expected/needed them to be.The sunken rooms were neat, but a bit awkward, especially in the master bedroom getting up into the bathroom at night. The showers did not drain well at all, and the kitchen had some quirks (such as the door to the dishwasher feeling like it was broken). The balcony, while amazing to be out on in the mornings with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise, it was weird to have to step over a high threshold instead of an easier walk out. We cooked some meals while there and everything functioned fine, its no gourmet kitchen, but suited us for breakfast and one dinner meal. The kids and us really loved the Pool complex as well as all the board games. Overall, we didn't spend a ton of time at the condo as there was so much else in the surrounding areas to see and do during the day. We'd definitely come back, although we might book directly next time instead of through vrbo.

Great stay and property

Great condo. Everything was clean and convenient. My only suggestion would be a second humidifier for the second bedroom. Otherwise, perfect.

Getaway

The condo looked just as the pics online. This condo does not have an a/c, They did list that so we knew, But we ended up being very hot. It did cool down at night but we had to put the fans in the windows and depending on which way the air outside was moving depended on if you had a breeze. Some nights were so hot we couldn’t sleep. Also, we had to call the management company to complain about the cleaning. The bedrooms, baths, kitchen, family room were clean, But the Windows were filthy. The deck and grill were full of dust. The unit smelled not fresh and clean, not so great. My family did not like that! The management company did come clean it up after our complaint. Very nice company. But, probably would stay somewhere with a/c in the summer. I’m sure it’s a good little place in the winter!

Nice place close to slopes

Condo was nice and clean. Fire place with free wood was a nice touch too! Parking was easy and shuttle to/from the lifts was about a minute walk from the front door. Kitchen had all the basics needed for simple meals, plus a grill on the back porch.

Perfect getaway

The Mountain House was great for our ski vacation! Very cozy accommodations close to Keystone and Breck. Hot tubs and pool were fantastic! Would def stay here again.

Everything we needed

The condo was equipped with everything we needed for a ski weekend. The decor is very outdated but for a ski weekend, who really cares? They are missing an ice maker which would have been nice. We looked for guest parking and called the office a few times about it. One of them told us if we find one that we can park there then we called to ask where they were and the girl on the phone said our property didn’t have any. We finally did find the spots on Saturday morning right by our condo. Other than that, the on call shuttle service was very convenient. Still wish the hot tub had been open but that’s understandable. Otherwise, the condo was fine and we would stay there again if it’s a good price!

Everything about the condo itself was great. We loved the location. The condo is cozy with lots of fun games for kids. The only complaint was the cleaning lady showed up at 8am and then we kept getting notifications to get check out of the condo before it was even 10am. Very annoying.

Nice location, condo outdated

The location is great. It's close to mountain house ski lifts. The condo itself is a little outdated. Mattresses, bedding, pillows could use some updating. Living room couch was not comfortable. Key pad to get into the condo was hard to use.

Throwback 1980s Rad Cabin at The Pines

This condo was so fun. It really took you back a handful of decades via the decor, kitchen appliances, etc. We loved it! Made us feel like we could really wind down and enjoy the space and beauty of being in the mountains. The couch is a little rough to sleep on but the beds are wonderful. The kitchen has old appliances that are still in great working condition, so that was cool rather than a nuisance by any means. Plenty of space, and the real working fireplace, so of course we loved that as well. We'd definitely consider staying here again! Thanks so much for the fun, throwback vibes :)
