Spacious 3rd Floor Walk-up amongst Mature Pines, Private Balcony with Views

  • This multi-level, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 4 with a king bed, queen bed, and twin bed. It is located in a building that is nestled amongst mature pine trees. Third floor walk-up with vaulted ceilings and a private balcony that offers peaceful views of the mountains and trees.

    This third floor walk-up features a spacious living area with a gas fireplace and a large flat screen TV. The homeowner added new furniture in the Fall of 2017 that offers plenty of comfortable seating. The private balcony can be accessed through the living room and offers beautiful views of the mountains and trees. Enjoy the outdoor seating on your private balcony while you take in the views.

    The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and the dining area comfortably seats six with four additional seats at the breakfast bar. The first of two full bathrooms is just down the hall and features a single sink vanity separated from the shower/tub combination and toilet area for added privacy. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

    The primary bedroom is located upstairs in the spacious loft area and has a king-sized bed with Ivory White Bedding, a flat screen TV, a spacious seating area and offers scenic views through the picture frame windows. The en suite bathroom has double sinks and a door separates the shower/tub combination and toilet area for added privacy. Back on the main level, the guest bedroom is down a few stairs. It has a queen-sized bed and a twin-sized bed, both with Ivory White Bedding and a flat screen TV. There is also a twin-sized mattress in the closet that can be pulled out for another sleeping arrangement.

Our ultra-premium linens rival those of The Four Seasons featuring extra soft, oversized towels and high quality bed linens that have a subtle satin stripe pattern for a look of elegance. The ivory white bedding is modeled after high-end hotels and resorts. This bedding showcases a soft, white-striped duvet cover with a medium thick, high quality down alternative duvet. Featuring an uncompromising and industry leading standard of cleanliness, the duvet covers are laundered after each and every guest stay.

    Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 24 years old at the time of booking.

Great Property in quiet area

The palace of keystone

This was such a huge palace to of lived in for a month. Will def have to book again here soon! Everything was so detailed cleaned and prepped for us. We alllllllll LOVED IT.

Great property for a family - close to Keystone

The condo is comfortable, clean, specious with beautiful views. Kitchen has everything you need and enjoyed the fireplace. Our family of 5 had enough space to connect and separate. Highly recommend.

Broken Bed and too expensive

It was clean and the staff was nice. Sadly, there was a broken bed which ruined the trip for others, and the response was that we could get $25 back. That is upsetting, and we would not stay here again.

Great accommodations, management, location

Can’t say enough positive about our experience with Summit County Mountain Retreats. Communication was A+. Location is a few minutes drive from Keystone Resort. A few more minutes to A Basin, and a half hour from Breck. Our 6AM flight was canceled at 8PM the night before departure. Management allowed us to extend for an extra night at a very reasonable rate. Again, just a great experience all around for a “closing weekend” spring ski trip. Highly recommend!!

Great Ski Rental!

I am a lifetime skier that has stayed everywhere from 4-Seasons to literally a 1room cabin with a pot bellied stove for heat.This property had a few bad reviews due to it being "dated" and in regard to the Prop. Mgmnt team. I found it to be an excellent ski home with lots of room and beautiful views from it's two story windows. The Mgmnt Team, when I needed them, responded immediately (I wanted more coffee). The furniture is not new, but it is very comfortable. The Master Suite Loft is enormous with great views. This being a ski rental with the additional abuse skiers and Boarders incur, the paint could be redone but it is not glaring and anything dinged has been touched up. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice. But second bedroom is loft. Not private.

This place was gorgeous. Spacious. Convenient. Worked well for three adults on a ski vacation. Just note that one of the bedrooms is open, not private. Morning light comes in early upstairs (no shade). Also, hot tub was advertised but was out of order. Management company was not polite or kind or willing to work with us about this false advertising.

Unit was great with awesome views and space! King bed was very comfortable and TV and furniture in living area made for great sports watching over the weekend. Refrigerator needs replaced so it works consistently. If climbing stairs is an issue not best choice. We had no issues with it and I’m 62!

Very convenient to Keystone ski area.

The bed was great, and everything was awesome. It's just always the directions and getting to a place that is very stressful. We had a hard time getting there, figureing out the garage, and identifying the building. Maybe texting that with the address would be better, it was like the address will come in a separate email, and it was dark and very hard to find. I didn't realize the garage was in the construction zone, not the first entrance...all this clarification would have made it easier. Overall a great place.

Overall - I will try and actively avoid booking a property owned and managed by Summit County Moutain Retreats in the future.Pros:- Relatively inexpensive- This unit's parking area is directly behind a bus stop (Silver Line)Cons:- No in-unit laundry, coin Laundy at the club house only had two functional washer/ dryer units, and no functional change machine. We drove to a laundry matt.- Club house hot tub was fairly gross - the space was maintained but the hot tub itself had not been cleaned in several weeks- The twin mattresses were terrible (Comfort wise)- There was not enough bedding for all the mattresses in the unit. - The queen bed frame is broken at the headboard - when you move, the mattress drops a bit and makes a popping noise (Uncomfortable if you are a light sleeper or have others in the same room).- The window treatments/ blinds were broken in the livingroom - which has the view of the mountain. They were kind enough to write a note that says the blinds are broken so you don't mess with them.- Toilet flush is fairly lack luster (more a word of caution).- Check in requires you to go to their management office to pick up hotel-like access cards. It can be contactless, however if you are shuttling from the airport and not rending a car, you will need to use an uber/ lyft, etc to get from point A to Point B. We rented a vehicle, but typically I shuttle.

Birthday Get Away

1st time VRBO user. Reservation process, payment, and insurance was a bit confusing. Got payment answers with inquiry. Checking in with office was required when we got to town as didn’t clearly understand how I would get door keys. Will need to figure out how to reserve 1st / Ground level accommodations going forward. Getting suitcases and bags to unit was challenging. Each trip down was carefully planned due to long stairs to climb to get back. Even with that - did enjoy the view being so high. Suggestions for reservations from? April to ? September - no need to open all sink cabinets AND no need to set all thermostats to 65. Might want to include map of complex showing where pool, hot tub, trash dumpster, etc. are all located. Didn’t think of using humidifiers until night before departure for high altitude effects until we searched for departure instructions. Windows / screens - I knew before coming unit would not have AC. That being said - at least 1 window did not open, at least 1 screen was missing, other screens looked like they went about to fall off and had gaps letting a bee in. In addition - we did use fans in unit but you might consider ceiling fans in living and or dining room area as well as each bedroom. Hats off to maintenance - found 1 master bath sink was draining real slow and almost overflowed 1st morning. After they left - friends didn’t hear them come and when we mentioned they had already fixed it - main flr bath was doing same thing.
