Excellent choice for our family ski trip

The Springs was an excellent location for our family. Well maintained and a couple hundred yards from the gondola, easy enough to walk with my two 8 year olds. Easy check in, heated parking and convenient ski lockers. We really enjoyed the kids play room for my 4 & 1 year olds. Super close to town, too; also an easy walk with the young kids. Will stay again!

Great location!

This cozy 2 bedroom was a short few minute walk to the Gondola, and the apartment complex had amazing amenities, including hot tubs, heating parking, and ski lockers!

Clean, well stocked condo

This is a great condo for a family. It is clean, beds are very comfortable, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops within a short walk. It is well-stocked with plenty of paper towels, dish soap/detergent, tissues, TP and all cooking supplies. Laundry is on a separate floor but was very easy to use (there’s an app - no quarters needed!). The ski lockers and parking are very convenient. The living room was a little cozy for our family of 5, and the walk to the gondola felt long some days, but the listing is clear about that. Overall, a great stay!

This condo was perfect for 3 adults, but had accommodations for additional guests. It was very clean, quiet, close to the gondola, the kitchen was well stocked to cook meals and the unit included 3 humidifiers to help with the dry air. We had a short walk around the construction to reach the gondola but it wasn’t a problem at all. The ski lockers were clean and conveniently located. Upon arrival we weren’t able to connect to the internet so I texted management and they were able to resolve the issue while we were out skiing. We would definitely recommend this condo!

Good but construction & noise

There is so much noise and construction going on that it was a huge inconvenience. There is some kind of water pipe that bangs while someone showers, you gotta keep a fan on bc with it silent you can’t get sleep. Walking around the huge construction project next door was not fun & they started scraping concrete with a bulldozer at 6am. At first I thought the condo was perfect. It was nice and clean. No complaints other than construction which can’t be helped. I guess that’s why it was a good deal wise.

The room and check in process was great. However the reason we booked this property was because of the pool. We were celebrating my daughters bday and the pool area was closed the day we stayed. There was no communication to us that the pool would be closed. That was very disappointing. I would’ve selected a different property.

The rental was up to date, the pool area was clean and functional. The pool was warm, the outdoor grill was clean and worked great.The downsides. Only one parking space was a real inconvenience, the mornings began with backup alarms on vehicles ringing at 6:30 am. The construction made for a longer walk to the lift and killed the view to the slope.I would recommend staying here, but maybe after construction of the new condo is completed if those things bother you. I would stay again!

Wonderful Condo for Keystone Family Ski Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great sized condo for family of 4. Short walk to river run gondola and village. Nice outdoor heated pool with slide, as well as 2 jacuzzis. App operated laundry available on 3 different floors was super convenient and easy to use. Elevators are rather slow, but we like the stairs anyways. Covered garage parking is a huge plus in winter months. The swivel chair in living room is broken, and master bedroom toilet did not seem to flush well at all. Quality of toilet paper and paper towels was poor, but that is to be expected in most rentals. Kitchen pots and pans could stand to be replaced as well. Suggest adding an air fryer for guests to use. And a fridge with build in ice maker would be fantastic. Did not experience loud neighbors or noise in hallways.

It does face a main road and walking path, so if you like to sleep with the windows open it can be a bit loud. Negatives: Only one morning worth of coffee??? I had requested early check (at an expense of $15/hr, but whatever) and was told I was “put on a list”. I texted at 1:30 to inquire again and was told the property was “awaiting inspection” and they would get back to me. Never heard from them again. Better communication would have been appreciated. If it’s a no, just tell me it’s a no so I can make alternate arrangements.

Reviewer Comments: The stay started with approval for an early check in and charged the codes didn’t work and the parking garage looks like it is in a construction site. The room never cooled down below 77 degree even with all doors and windows opened. The room was beautiful! We got a text message later in the day saying the next day work was being started in parking garage to follow signs where to park. It was check out day so, there were no signs and we were not told a time so when we went to load up in the car we walked into the garage with chemicals covering the floor, workers in masks, my car left in the middle of the chemicals and my whole family with the chemicals. We had to load the car as fast as possible and leave the garage.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a family of 5. One adult with 4 kids. This was a pretty good setup for all of us. My one kid opted to sleep on the couch rather than the pullout trundle bed, which was good so we didn't have to mess with pulling it in and out each day so there was a walkway in the small room. Wasn't any room to put away your own food in the cabinets, but there's a lot of glassware to choose from. There is a Keurig coffee machine but no K-cups, so bring your own if you want coffee. Was glad there was a Britta Pitcher for the water as there was an odd flavor to it straight out of the tap. Dishware was heavy and stacked on shelves that were nearly out of reach. I had to drag a chair into the kitchen area just to reach them. Yes I'm short 5'0" so maybe you won't have issues. Bathrooms are great, very large with two sinks was great for all of us. Nice cozy little space. Good home base for exploring the area. We enjoyed our time in Colorado.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Got off to a bad start with not being able to get into our unit until close to 6:00pm and there was still someone in the unit at that time. Once in the unit, some TV’s weren’t working along with toaster, kettle, toilet seat was severely loose, etc. However, whoever I was texting was very responsive and handled everything very well. There is a new building going up and unlike the last 2 times I stayed here, you can’t walk out the pool area right to the gondola or village, you have to take a considerably longer path around the new building being constructed. If you eliminate the late check in and and the new construction overall it wasn’t too bad. I think with this construction making the walk longer to the gondola the cost (roughly $1,000/night after taxes, fees, etc) needs to be lowered as I had friends paying same in a nicer place w ski in ski out. The attentiveness was excellent, the room was good as was the common areas and amenities but I would look elsewhere next time for location/value.

Had a small hiccup but overall stay was excellent

Overall, our experience at River Run was very good. I have to say the staff is very communicative and accommodating. Of course there are many unknown variables that can pop up at any given time. Before our arrival, a staff member contacted me and advised the original place of our stay had the hot water heater & heater had gone out and were willing to book a comparable location. There was one point of contention, the original property we were assigned to had a higher rate than the new property we were re-assigned to. I asked kindly if they may be able to offer a credit but they respectfully declined. I was a little disappointed in that decision due to the significant price difference and also the week long stay we booked. As for when we arrived at the property, it was clean and no initial issues were discovered. The kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms had clean towels, tissues and so forth, overall well equipped. This location is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants within the plaza, and this property offered covered garage parking below the structure. In the end it all worked out. We encountered no further issues during our stay and enjoyed ourselves fully!

Great condo!

Great condo if you are traveling with kids. Beds are all comfy and second bedroom can sleep 4 each with their own twin bed. Once the construction is finished for the new condos, the walk to the gondola will be shorter making it even better. We would definitely stay again.
