This property is across the street from the beach. A very nice quick walk. However, you can not used the Kiawah Island pool, its not part of this property.

Kiawah getaway

The unit was just as I expected. Very clean and organized. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Island was quiet as usual. This year had a bald eagle outside every morning looking for some food in the lagoon. Would recommend this unit to anyone that is traveling to Kiawah.

Condo was clean but had a musty smell. Also, we were given the incorrect code to get in so after a long day of travel it was frustrating not to be able to get into the condo when we arrived.

Short walk to the park

The property was close to the park. My only complaint was communication between the property manager was lacking. During check in on Sunday I let the property manager know the handle on sink in bathroom came off. And the TV in the master bedroom would not work. No cable on that TV or smart tv options. They said they would check with home owner on operation of the bedroom tv. I never heard back from them my whole trip.

Terrible bed and furnishings

The condo is in a great location just steps from the beach but is in absolutely terrible condition. We could not sleep in the ancient bed. Old, creaky, sunken mattress with thin stained blankets. The couch is in equally poor shape. Not surprisingly, considering the age and condition of the unit, there is a VCR player!!! We left early after one sleepless night.

Place for two only!

We had a food weekend because we enjoyed the race and our company. However, this rental was definitely lacking. It says it sleeps 4 adults but the bed in the bedroom is not very comfortable and the sleeper sofa seems to be an original from the 80's. Unbearably uncomfortable! My husband and I had to ge them to bring us an air mattress for the second night. Notice they don't have pics of the bathroom becaus it is tiny and has peeling paint on ceiling and walls. 4 adults and only 4 towels given, With 3 people running a race we certainly needed more. The location was good for our purpose and I enjoyed the back porch for reading. But could not/would not stay in those uncomfortable beds again.

Terrible bed

We left a night early because the bed was so bad. While it was our honeymoon and we wanted to be close, we didn't want to lay down in the bed and involuntarily roll towards each other and into the middle of the bed. It is clear to use that the owners have put an old worn out bed they no longer needed in their one bedroom rental. The couch isn't any better and provide little relief or escape. Overall the rental was clean and convenient to the beach, but extremely dark. The kitchen is small and minimally stocked, not that we cooked anything while we were there. We won't be back.

This was our first time to this area, absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet. Small park for kids in walking distance, bike trails, and the beach was right across the street which was my favorite part. This unit seemed to b clean upon arrival, but during our stay my momma killed 2 roaches and had to clean all dishes before cooking. There are way to many cups, pots and pans for 2 people. No one would ever use all that in their stay, and they clearly don't cause they had dust all over them. I'd suggest removing more than half the dishes so that people have room to put their food because there wasn't any cabinet space. Microwave didn't Half work unless u press the beverage button. Inside one of the cabinets there was an opened bag of powder sugar and regular sugar. No wonder there are roaches. We cleaned up before we left, and even vacuumed the living room rug and sucked up atleast a cup of sand outta the rug and we clearly didn't do that. The cleaning deposit needs to b adjusted for the quality you get. We'd definitely come back and visit the area though

This one bedroom place is neat and cozy. It was clean and had everything you need. We especially loved the screened in porch with a view of the lagoon. We spied some very interesting birds and alligators!! Short walk to the beach.

The beach is a 30 second walk away. There’s a new couch which I know that’s what the main problem was in the other reviews. Bed is comfortable and there’s plenty of cooking equipment. The porch is the best part!
