Fun beach bungalow.

Great communication, place was nice. Washer dryer are older and are loud, but otherwise neat clean and a nice walk to the beach. Would stay there again.

Perfect family house

Perfect house for our family. Near the beach, near Night Heron Park for kids camp, the nest cafe and convenience store all easy walking. Had bikes delivered that were waiting when we arrived. Comfortable beds, all very good.

Roomy clean home with pretty screened in porch

We had 3 couples staying the weekend. The place was plenty big, nice comfy furnishings and updated appliances. We loved the screened in porch, overlooking the lagoon, to eat breakfast in. We appreciated the starter products (dish and laundry pods, bathroom needs, etc) so we didn't need to buy for the weekend. There were a couple of repairs needed but nothing that caused issues with our stay. Property management was very kind and helpful. .

Great Home in Convenient Location

This home is as advertised! Wonderfully clean and comfortable home located in great proximity to all you need at Kiawah. We parked our car and rode bikes everywhere - the beach, Freshfields, the park, cafe, nature center, etc. this home serves as a great home base if you are like us and spend more time out doing than inside staying.

Night Heron review

The home seems recently updated. It was quite clean and well-equipped. The Nest and beachfront are a short walk away, but to get to restaurants, grocery, etc., you should plan to have a bike or car. Otherwise, the location is excellent.

Kiawah Vacation 23

Coming from a landlocked state, having access to a wonderful, open, clean beach was exactly what this Midwesterner needed. Easy access and travel distance to restaurants, attractions, events was all one could want. Loved every minute of our stay and wish it could have lasted longer. Would definitely recommend to anyone, Vacasa 4117 Night Herron. Perfect for a small group and family vacation. Clean home and inviting surroundings, including great neighbors. On our list already as a return destination!!

Great Location

The cottage was well-appointed and clean. The check-in process was a breeze. The property is in a convenient location, about a 7 min. walk or 3 min. bike ride to the beach. The property is also near the Night Heron Pool (access not included!) and a quick drive to the Freshfields Town Center. I highly suggest renting bikes to explore all that Kiawah has to offer.

A simple, comfortable stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. It is nice that it can be rented by the day rather than having to book an entire week. The beach is an easy walk or a four minute bike ride. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the right beach. The beach itself is nice and wide with a gentle slope, perfect for small children. The island is beautifully landscaped with native plants. There were butterflies everywhere, drawn in by the special plantings and the Monarchs were migrating south. The Island is perfect for bicycling with miles of paved paths and almost no inclines. I highly recommend renting or bringing your own bicycle. The rental agency was top notch, with maintenance arriving in less than five minutes when we locked ourselves out. The house was clean and comfortable and there were no issues with AC or internet. We would definitely stay here again.

Pricey for what you get

House was in a good location for us - as it was close to the start of the marathon. Was disappointed a bit bc we paid decent $ …overall house wasn’t bad but outfitted with not enough & cheap kitchen items. The plastic outdoor set with only 5 chairs was tacky. Front lights burnt out going up the front stairs was dangerous

Memorial Day 2022

The house itself was great...fully stocked kitchen and clean. A couple of items for improvement: 1) Need to supply more laundry and dishwasher detergent. With 5 people staying and eating breakfast and dinner in, could have used extra tablets. 2) More than 1 dish towel and 1 roll of paper towels should be included for the price that is charged. 3) The gas grill is on the upstairs wooden deck. This seems like a fire code issue and should not be allowed. Would recommend moving it back to the car port and chain it to a column if guests are moving it. 4) We noticed several roaches throughout the stay. Part of it is likely the area but may want to consider increasing frequency of pest control. 5) The listing information should clearly state that amenity cards and pool access is not included since the rental is not through the resort.

Disappointing Experience: Unclean Bathroom at Vacasa Vacation Rental

I recently stayed in a Vacasa vacation rental, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by subpar cleanliness standards, particularly in the bathroom. Upon entering the shower, I was greeted by a filthy shower lining covered in noticeable residue from previous guests. Despite the duration of my stay, it was evident that the lining had not been changed, and would not be changed in a timely manner due to office inventory being down per management, leaving me unable to enjoy a refreshing shower. Despite the appealing exterior of the rental, the lack of attention to cleanliness greatly detracted from the overall experience. The presence of such unsanitary conditions not only affected my comfort but also raised concerns regarding the thoroughness of the cleaning procedures in place. While the location and amenities of the vacation rental may hold promise, I cannot overlook the disappointment of encountering unhygienic conditions during my stay. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to ensure that future guests do not encounter similar issues.
