This condo was absolutely perfect in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautifully renovated it was — everything felt brand new with top-of-the-line finishes and a bright, modern feel. But what truly sets this place apart is the view. The balcony overlooks the ocean with an unobstructed view that’s simply breathtaking. Watching the sunset each evening — whether from the balcony or down by the pool — felt like something out of a postcard.Gary was a wonderful host — responsive, welcoming, and clearly takes great pride in the property. You can tell he’s thought of everything to make guests feel at home. This was easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in Maui, and we’re already planning to return. Highly, highly recommend!

Absolute paradise. An incredible, luxury condo with an unbeatable view. The unit is extremely well kept and well decorated. The "hideaway" TV by the one bed is a cool touch as is the extra large shower in the master bath. The employees of the resort were very nice and helpful. The "lawn" area between the pool and the beach is an awesome place to lay out in the Hawaiian sun on very comfortable chairs and seconds away from the pool or ocean. It was just my wife and I so this was perfect for us. If you're bringing kids, just be aware, you might be on high alert not wanting them to break anything and cause more stress. Simply amazing place and hope to stay here again!

Amazing view from this unit and a great beach for walking and snorkeling. Definitely walk the trail to the north of the property toward the boat ramp and park if you want to see sea turtles! The general store on the ground floor is a great amenity with plenty of snacks and stuff for breakfast and lunch. Property is centrally located between Wailea and Kihei giving you tons of dining and shopping options.

Best place at Mana Kai

We have stayed at the Mana Kai five times before in different condos, this unit is absolutely beautiful and the owners thought of every detail to make you feel like you were staying at a five star hotel. I just booked for next year to make sure we get the same unit!

Spring Break

Loved the place, view, and location. I probably wouldn’t advertise this as a 2-bedroom because it wasn’t. It was a studio with an extra bedroom and we wanted a 2-bedroom. It’s not a bedroom when the master is in the living room and kitchen. All that said, it was a beautiful spot and great location. The beach was amazing!

Slice of paradise

This was a great location from which to enjoy the laid back vibes of Kihei! Unit has a fabulous view and it was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the restaurant in the building is still undergoing renovations, so it was not available. So, the only downside is that you’ll need to drive somewhere for meals if you don’t want to cook. The market downstairs does have a limited menu. If you need to rent water sports gear, go see Carol next door to the market!

We’ve been to Maui many times and this is the best property we’ve had. The remodel includes all the amenities, high end appliances and stunning decor. I loved the view and spent a ton of time on the lanai. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Condo with AMAZING Ocean views

We spent a week at this property. We have been coming to the Mana Kai Maui regularly starting in 1979. This unit was by far the nicest unit we have visited. The property is nicely upgraded and forged into a single 2 bedroom unit with central air throughout. The appliances are all new and top quality. The lanai is well appointed and where you will likely spend much of your stay. Being on the 5th floor or above (and being at the end of the building closest to the ocean as this unit is) assures a view that really cannot be matched or bested anywhere on the island - we have tried!! Fortunately beautiful Keawakapu Beach did not lose sand during the earlier winter storms. We experienced perfect weather every day. Hopefully the restaurant will reopen soon - it’s so convenient to watch the sunset and the whales with a nice meal and a cocktail or wine. You cannot go wrong with this property and it’s close to all the nice facilities in Wailea but without the hubbub. Hopefully we’ll be back! It is a relatively expensive unit but the cost pales compared to the Wailea hotels - and they can’t match the comfort, views and relaxed pace of the Mana Kai

FANTASTIC!

What a beautiful unit! I've been in a few. We could see the whales from our lanai and that beautiful beach! Convenient location with so much near by. This was my husband's first trip. Now he only wants to go back, and only wants to stay in this unit.

One of Mana Kai's Best

Beautiful. Views surpassed by none! Yes! Even saw turtles from our lanai. And breeching whales. Clean and bright. Blackout window coverings. Did not use these...I love to wake to the beach views and surf sounds. Well stocked kitchen and very user friendly. Thanks for the little extras like spices, olive oil, foil and baggies. Great Mana Kai Unit

We have stayed in this unit in the past and once again it was great. Nice quiet condo right on the beach. Walking distance to Wailea. Can’t say enough good things about this condo/location/beach. Perfect!

Absolutely the Best!

We've stayed at the Mana Kai for over 10 years in different condo units and this was by far the most elegant of all. Everything about it was top notch. The artwork is outstanding. The kitchen cabinetry made me want to go home and redo ours. The furniture and bedding were top notch. We were greeted on checking in with 2 gorgeous orchids. Even the balcony was decorated. AC worked great. Huge bathtub in the back unit. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our place. The updates that were done gave a very luxurious feeling that went with the view. The only thing that we didn’t like was that we had to wait until 4pm to check in. Everything else went smoothly. We had a great time and truly enjoyed the property.

Everything was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better more beautiful location. It was everything I imagined and more and Gary was very responsive and he made arrangements so that we could enjoy a later, check out time… Thank you so much for everything when I am fortunate enough to be able to take a trip back, I am hopeful that the timing works out so I can stay in this exact beautiful amazing condo❤️ Our hearts are broken for Maui at this time ..we were very fortunate to have been able to visit Lahaina and the amazing banyan tree… we are praying for these most beautiful people🙏

Beautiful property with unmatched views

We were fortunate to enjoy a few days in this beautiful property. The views are unmatched as you're literally on the beach. Even with windows closed, you can hear the magnificent surf. Property was immaculate, check-in, electronic (a breeze). Mana Kai staff and property were great. Beach and grounds in front of property were perfection. Sadly, our trip was cut a bit short by the Maui fires and we left in the middle of the night to we could make sure we made our flight the next day (so many unknowns while those fires raged in the night). My heart still can't get over the fires and devastation on beautiful Maui. All in all this stay was a perfect 10. We hope to return in 2024 and help support community rebuilding. Thank you!

Memorable Maui Celebration, Breathtaking Oceanview

This was our first Vrbo. We typically stay at resorts/hotels; so, we were anxious about if we'd get what we paid for. I'm thrilled to say this rental experience met our expectations. The condo unit looks as advertised - well appointed, clean, and spacious. We really appreciated the convenience - quick access to the beach, laundry, markets, and restaurants. There are retailers within walking distance but with the heat and limited visibility on the streets in the evening, I'd suggest renting a vehicle. Depending on the number of people in your party, you might want to bring extra beach towels if you wish to use the four complimentary beach towels to cover the beach chairs and your own to dry off. The lanai offers a breathtaking view of the beach and the mountain. Take the time to enjoy it. What really made our stay memorable was the unit manager, Carl. He was so patient, endearing, and hospitable. He made sure all of our needs were met and made dining and shopping recommendations according to our interests. He even surprised our two college graduates with a custom made cheesecake at Duo's. Mahalo, Carl, for excellent service!
