Awesome property!

Clean, well appointed, and a killer ocean view made this property an amazing place for our 6 day family getaway. Nice resort pool and short walk to the beach and shops, yet private and quiet so no dealing with normal hotel crowds. Big kitchen with patio bbq added to making this the perfect place for our stay.

Beautiful Villa

This villa was perfect for our family of six (parents plus teen/grown children). Much happier here than we would have been at a hotel, for sure. Great location, spectacular views, nice layout. Would highly recommend!

A more contemporary furnishing touch than other Ho’olei properties we have stayed in previously, this is a great place. Love the round table for family dinners when the weather doesn’t favor eating on the lanai.

Gorgeous Property, Great Location, and Attention to Detail

Two families with grade school aged kids. Stunning views from lanai that opens completely. Kitchen very well set up for the few meals we did cook (so many good restaurants nearby it's hard to cook!). Overall a very beautiful home. Swimming pool amazing when we were relaxing closer to home. Very close to shopping, restaurants, and beaches. Property manager communicated very well. Wish we had more time...overall a wonderful vacation!

Memorable vacation!

This property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful space, gorgeous view, and well appointed. Everything you could possibly need from kitchen essentials to beach equipment. My family really enjoyed everything this place had to offer, and we had a truly memorable vacation as a result. One tiny issue was some of the utensils and plates needed extra cleaning, but that’s probably on the previous vacationers. The property management company was also super nice and helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

Perfect in every way!

This was our third trip to Maui in the past three years. We stayed at the same vacation rental our first two times there. While we loved it, it was in upcountry and took almost an hour to drive to Wailea Beach. We decided that if we ever went back to Maui we would have to find a place closer to the beach and other things to do. I was worried that we wouldn’t find a place that we liked as much, however, this place was everything we could have wanted and more! We went to celebrate my oldest daughter’s high school graduation, and it was a perfect trip of relaxation with beautiful views from the home and convenient access to everything you could want to do in the area. The house is beautifully decorated and a perfect layout. We just loved opening the sliding doors as soon as we woke up in the morning so that we could enjoy the outdoors and beautiful view of the beach while we were drinking our coffee and eating breakfast. The house is so well stocked and there’s nothing we needed outside of food. we appreciated having so many beach towels and accessories as well and a garage for the car. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable! Really can’t say enough wonderful things about the place and the hosts were very responsive to my questions before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this home!

Perfect Maui stay

This is a beautiful property, spotlessly clean, well-appointed and spacious. The kitchen is particularly well-stocked, and the garage has plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, pool noodles, coolers, and a wagon. The beds were comfy and the sunset view from the lanai is gorgeous! The owners were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience

Property is very nice and well stocked. There was plenty of beach gear including chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, as well as a collapsible wagon to carry everything as it is a bit of a walk to the beach. The kitchen had everything needed to cook for our group of 8. View from the main floor is amazing!

Amazing Stay at an Amazing Property

We had come here planning to stay for a few weeks, but ended up staying twice as long - it’s that good! The pictures don’t do it justice, the view is amazing, we loved sitting out on the lanai enjoying our peaceful evenings away from the crowds at the main resorts. But when we did want to go to the beach, it was an easy walk down and the house comes with all the beach items you would ever need. Derek + team were SUPER responsive to any need we had throughout our stay. The house is modern and super spacious. It was a true home away from home, and we cannot wait to return.

no shower support for handicapped seniors

Even though there is a handicap elevator, there is no handle or even a soap dish in the glass wall for seniors who have balance problems. We called hosts near the end of our stay to ask for a portable shower handle support (master bath is a large open one - no wall or door at the entrance or end, but were told all of the units are built that way - no help offered. Removable one could be purchased at Home Depot, etc. Had to make do with sponge baths and husband's support - kind of put a big damper on the stay - Tried the other 2 showers in unit and they had no support handles either - very dangerous! Owners should be told of this problem.

Great Unit

The location, clubhouse and pool area is great. The grill needs repaired and the front right burner on the gas range would not light. Working the TV is very complicated and instruction would be very helpful. Overall, great unit, great views and would definitely rent it again.

Ideal Family Vacation

This was my first ever vacation rental. In the past I’ve always opted to stay at hotels and resorts. In this case, however, I wanted to be able to bring my family, including my adult children and one year old grandchild, together under one roof with some of the conveniences of home, such as kitchen and laundry, that are particularly helpful to accommodate an infant. I couldn’t have been happier. The unit was spacious, clean and very well provisioned for a week-long stay, including a high chair, pack and play and even pool floats and beach toys for the baby. The family had a marvelous vacation and spent more time together than we possibly could have if we had been in separate (and pricey) hotel rooms. The complex was also ideally located in Wailea with easy access to beaches, hotels, shops, golf etc. Would happily stay there again.

Best Place to Stay…Ever

The accommodations were amazing and even better than the pictures! Eric, our contact, was super helpful even before our trip and made sure we had everything we needed. I’m quite particular about cleanliness and this place was impeccable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you could possibly need. I actually fell ill during the trip and was glad to have such a spacious place to recuperate in. And the view is spectacular and you can watch the sunset from both the living area and master bedroom. The location in Wailea is perfect and close to so many activities. The little gourmet market nearby had delicious options for us as well. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else and that’s saying a lot!!

This was an awesome property! The unit itself was clean, spacious, comfortable, exactly as described/pictured, and overall amazing! The community was wonderful as well - beautiful, quiet, private, and impressive. We had everything we needed (and more), plenty of room for our group (me, my 2 kids, my parents, my sister), and would absolutely love to return again someday. This Ho'olei unit is fantastic. We loved the space and location. I think we spent every meal we could out on the lanai plus you could watch the whales from there too. Everyone associated with this condo was very kind and helpful. We can not wait to be back!

Incredible property!

This was the perfect place to end our stay on Maui. The property is serene, spacious, nicely furnished and well stocked. Although we did not do much cooking, the kitchen is incredibly well stocked, with most small appliances and gadgets and plenty of dish and glassware. The views from both the upstairs and downstairs are stunning. We look forward to returning for a longer stay.
