"This was a perfect place to stay for a family of four. We wanted to be close to the beaches in the Kihei / Wailea area, close to food options, and someplace where our kids could have some options for play, and this checked all those boxes. The condo had plenty of space, a nice large living room/kitchen area, two spacious bedrooms, and a nice lanai that overlooked the pool deck area. Plenty of beach chairs and beach toys for the kids available for use. There were beaches within walking distance, a large playground/park that overlooks the water, and plenty of other beach options within a 15 minute drive. La'haina / Kaanapali is only about a 40 minute drive away, and Paia is only about 30 minutes away, so this spot is particularly convenient. Food-wise, there's a huge food truck complex within a block of the condo, as well as one of the best sushi places on the island. Would absolutely stay here again, especially for the price - it's a great value."

"Everything was as advertised and more, there’s tons of beach stuff provided in the unit (umbrella, towels, chairs etc). Truly a wonderful experience-when researching I thought this place was to good to be but it actually was not. The host is a very lovely man who I hope we will travel back to see and chat with again (very nice and gives great recommendations)!"

"Michael was very flexible and a great communicator & made me feel comfortable during my stay. Although the property is a bit older, it’s very clean with very lovely comfortable bedding. I did not use the extra room as I was traveling solo but there are lots of beach items both for adults and children. It was a very short walk to Charlie Young Beach, which is a lovely beach. And close walking distance to everything else you might need. I did not have a car and didn’t feel ant all stranded. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at island surf! The place was very comfortable, parking was easy, and the location was the best! There are lots of things to do close by and the view of the ocean was beautiful. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun getaway to Maui."

"We loved our stay in Kihei. The condominium was as advertised. Clean, comfortable and we loved the location. Early morning snorkeling at Kam 1 was a great way to start the day. Easy access to the Wailea beaches. Sitting on balcony watching the surfers getting started in the morning. Food trucks had good Thai food. Just a great combination of activities and relaxing on the fabulous beaches. Get out early and beat the wind. Great beds and extremely quiet especially when the balcony door is closed. We plan on returning."

"We had a view of the beach , parking wasn’t an issue. There was an issue with gnats but it seemed to be problem everywhere not just our rental."

"Shabby. Needs a major refresh; needs new wall paint throughout, needs new shower curtains and shower floor tile, needs new kitchen fan, needs new refrigerator water filter, etc… Couch is uncomfortable to sit on. Overpriced for these particular accommodations. On the plus side there were clean sheets and towels and it is in close walking distance to the beach and restaurants. "
