“Stunning experience. You are on the property of Hanalei Bay Resort but you do not have bed made, towels changed, etc. something to think about for longer stays. But absolutely breathtaking view and very nice and clean. 5/5!!! ”

“Fantastic location, comfortable unit, and great support from the host. Relaxing balcony with beautiful views. The kitchenette is useful for breakfast and snacks, but if you want to cook full meals with a range or oven you'll need a different spot. But again, kitchenette is great if you plan to eat out mostly and just do light meal prep now and then.”

“First off the room was great. The view was absolutely beautiful! Breathtaking!! The only problem we had was that the resort was not fully operational. No pool, no food or drink. At all. Yes, we know about the storm that had come through weeks prior. We booked this condo months ago. Our host should have contacted us that the rest of the resort wasn’t up & running. We would have found different accommodations. When we checked in there wasn’t electricity to the room, they’re still working to……

“Overall the property was wonderful. Peter was a great host and very responsive during the check in process. We were not able to have room access until 4pm, which is understandable due to the thorough cleaning of the room. The photos of the lanai are not exaggerated at all, the view is amazing. Comfortable bed, A/C, and a large bathroom and shower. The only minor complaint would be no sink by the kitchenette area, but washing in the bathroom sink is fine. The property grounds had 2 great……

“The room was perfect for my wife and I. The resort had everything you need. Pool was comfortable, restaurants were delicious, and bed was super comfy. ”

“Gorgeous views — more impressive than the photos. Excellent location. Can walk 5-8 minutes down the hill to a very quiet and dreamy beach. The room itself, as others have noted, could use some upgrades. Lots of scuffs along walls and baseboards, lumpy pillows, wobbly end tables, mid-range amenities (towels, soaps, etc.). Also, this is a connecting room, which means you really can hear everything from the neighbors if they are speaking above a whisper. We were lucky with most neighbors, but for a……

“Lovely little place to tuck in and watch the magical sunrises of Kauai.”

“Facilities were nice, pickleball, near Makai golf course and same beach as 1hotel. Room got the job done but felt a bit dated. The ac worked but was loud and the bed was a little uncomfortable. There were also ants and ant traps throughout the room.”

“What a great location with a stunning view! It felt great waking up every morning to mountains and rainbow. We would definitely stay here again. The room is just steps away from the resort’s beautiful pool. The communication was great and the resorts staff was friendly and kind! Stay here with the confidence that you will have a great time on this magnificent island.”

“We loved everything about our experience! ”
